The 12 Kits of Occasions - January 2014 Edition

Can you believe it is the end of the month??? We are already 1/12 of the way through 2014, time really does fly while you are being creative.  This month's kit is brought to you by Sharron from On Papillon Wings and what an amazing kit it is...so many wonderful goodies packed in to an envelope, I know mine was ready to explode once I started to open it up, so many wonderful and new treats to play with.  We also have a guest designer with us this month, she won our little contest last month, her name is Michelle from Pretty Periwinkles. Happy Sunday and a very quick post...just one card to share today, trying to get caught up on a few other things today.  I have been dying to use this stamp set, Harvest Berries (it was a Christmas gift, so this would qualify for NBUS).  My card is for this weeks Colour Me #4, I missed it last time around.  I have been working hard on using supplies that I already own. 3 cards for Saturday...

Well, Saturday is just about over and I accomplished so much today. My family headed up to Travis Air Force Base to do the grocery shopping and I stayed home, it was nice to have the house to myself for once. I made a pot of homemade chicken noodle soup, almost finished a new blouse, just need to sew the buttons on and got my laundry finished too. I love my dolly domestic days, I could really never leave home, except maybe to get more crafting supplies.  I have 3 cards to share for several challenges and can't wait to share them with you.  Thank you so much for taking time to stop by and peek at my cards...have a wonderful rest of your weekend!

PTI - January Hop and CASology #70 - Contrast

Happy Saturday...wishing everyone a wonderful weekend! I don't have anything planned other than hanging out at home being crafty and dolly domestic.  I have 3 cards to share today and all of them are for this months Papertrey Ink Blog Hop and one is for this weeks CASology challenge. I was late to the party last week and I want to be sure that does not happen again.  PTI blog hop theme is Pretty in Pink...I just love pink and had so much fun playing along.  

This is my card for CASology...the cue card this week is contrast and I was stumped for a bit. I made the card above it for the PTI Blog Hop, I love the look but it is very busy so to make a card for CASology in contrast to that card, still pretty and the hearts are the focal point, but a much cleaner look.  I used a new die from SSS, Heart Parade. Such a fun die and I want send a thank you to whoever was so sweet to have it sent to me, it was a wonderful surprise!

Some exciting news to share.....

It is for Simply Create Too and I just over the moon excited about it. One more card for the day....

Hello again...I have one more card to share. It is for the current challenge at Reverse Confetti and this is my first time playing along. I feel in love the color combination and came up with an idea as soon as I saw them. It was not a quick card, since I wanted to stamp my own background it took forever using the same stamp and having to wait for it to dry, I really needed 2 more but love the end result so it was worth the wait.  I used a coffee charm that I have had floating around forever, I had 2 of them on the card but it looked too crowded so now just the bag of coffee. 3 Cards for Monday...

Good Morning...I have 3 cards to share today and for several challenges, want to be sure I am not late to the parties again.  While my family watched footballs games yesterday I had some quiet time to play in my craft room and this is what I came up with.  My first card is for Festive Friday and this is my very first time playing along. It is a great way to get a head start on your Christmas cards if you play along every time.  I will be entering this card in the current challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch #60.

My second card is for ColourMe #3 and this one was so much fun to make! This was the first time I pulled out Ruby Reprise and I have to be honest with you, I would never have put these colors together but they work, and they look amazing together!

My final card is for Paper Players #179 and the challenge is to make a one layer Valentine's Day card. Had to do a bit of thinking to do this one, I don't usually make one layer cards but once I figured out what to do, it was very quick...gotta love Washi Tape!
