The 12 Kits of Occasions - Rewind

Today is the final day of September and that means it is once again time for our 12 Kits of Occasions group post. September is our month for leftovers, and we all have lots and lots of leftovers (one of the reasons I love this group)! Since May I have been doing a kit revisited post but decided since we were going to feature leftovers this month, I waited. In addition to our regular ladies, all the guests from this past year are playing along too, so much fun! I pulled out all the kits that I had left in tact and decided to make note pads with them, I love using these as holiday gifts for co-workers. I did make one card using last month's kit...when I saw the birthday card Jeanne made, I feel in love with it. Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, Fresh Brewed Designs and Inkspirational Drinks/Beverages

Happy Monday...I love Monday's, my favorite day of the week. This past week was so busy, no time to really get much crafting in and this past week was another busy one, went to the SFJazz center in San Francisco with my sweet on Friday night and to a rock show with my daughter on Saturday night at the Fox in Oakland to see The Gaslight Anthem and Against Me. What an incredible show... I will not go into too much of the embarrassing details but will say this...a woman at my age really has no business on the rail while Against Me plays, just crazy and plain stupid! But I can laugh about it now provided I take a couple of aspirin first.  

I know Darnell's NBUS challenge is over but I did pull out a few of them for this post. I love this sweet little treat holder from Reverse Confetti, I have had it forever! Happy Wednesday...I have one card to share today and it is for the new challenge at Simply Create Too. I can always use special occasion cards and for this challenge I decided to make a wedding card and use a die that rarely gets used.  And since it is a wedding card I decided to bling it out a bit. I love this silver glitter paper, so fun. I added some purple flowers to give it a bit of color and I am very happy with the way it looks. Hello...happy first day of fall, my favorite time of year. I love the colors, the smells, Halloween, Pumpkin Spice Lattes and Candy Corn! So so yummy. This weeks ColourQ colors are so fun and I love the sweet little outfit that Arielle used for inspiration. Hope you will find the time to play along with us. Hope you had a wonderful weekend, mine was supposed to be nice a quiet, never leave the house quiet, plenty of craft time quiet. But then the phone rings and I was invited to lunch and at church I was invited to a baseball game, could not turn either down so needless to say, I did not get anything done. But I had a wonderful time.

Happy Wednesday! Hope your week is going well so far. I have one card to share with you today and it is for the new challenge at The Card Concept #19 and the challenge is a color challenge and the colors are fabulous and so perfect for this time of year. Don't you just love them! I used both the colors and the photo for inspiration but I really struggled on the layering for my card. My style of card for this challenge is clean and layered, I think I got the clean portion and to make it layered I used 3 leaves glued together to give it some dimension. Hope you will find the time to play along, I so love seeing all your beautiful cards. Before I forget, I am using a new Happy Thanksgiving stamp so I am posting my card on Darnell's NBUS challenge. Waltzingmouse Pajama Party

It has been way too long time since I have pulled out my Waltzingmouse stamps, and with their pajama party, it was the perfect opportunity. They have 4 challenges going on and I have a card/tag for each one.

My first card is for the Doodle Do challenge, where you do some doodling on your lettering. I used my NBUS set from WM, Tis the Season, stamped it in red and pulled out a silver pen for a bit of bling. 

My second card is Too Cute to Spook, you pull out stamps to make a kid friendly Halloween card. In my opinion, WM makes some of the best Halloween stamps out there, so many fun and creepy images to play with. 

The third challenge was to pull out some "old pajama's" for Christmas. I decided to make a tag for this one and used Santa's Coming To Town stamps. I love the Santa head image. 

Their final challenge is Bedtime Story and using a sketch and I decided to balance things out, I have two Christmas projects and needed one more Halloween, so my final card is using the sketch for a Halloween card. 

All 3 of my cards are made using some NBUS, stamps on the first 2 cards and paper on the final card, so I will entering these in Darnell's challenge, you can find the link here to play along.

Serendipity - Summer's Last Hurrah #35

I love, love, love this stamp from Serendipity, it is at the top of my list of favorites. There is just something about these three dresses hanging on the clothes line. Like the end of summer and the faded colors, ready to put away until next year, so sweet. Perfect for this challenge at Serendipity don't you think and since my dresses are paper pieced, I am entering them at Virginia's View too. The NUBS on my card is this beautiful snowflake die from Poppy Stamps that I used while visiting Joyce.
