CAS-ology #7 and Blogaversary Winner

I have been a bit under the weather this week and had a difficult time just getting to the computer just to check my emails, but happy to say that I did manage to get one card made and that is for the fabulous challenge blog, CAS-ology...I am really loving their challenges and trying to remember to keep my card simple but still creative, not always an easy thing to do.  I am going to keep this post a bit short, put my feet up and watch the reminder of the Giants game, and by the way they are winning at this point 4-2 against the Braves....Thanks for taking a peek!

Now on to the winner from my Blogaversary post last week....thank you to all who posted comments and to all of you who are faithful readers and always leave me wonderful comments, you are the BEST! I am so blessed to part of this wonderful little community of card makers and paper crafters and have learned so much from so many of you, thank you from the bottom of my heart! Now on to the winner....drum roll please or should I say random number generator please ( I tried to cut and paste the image but as most you know I am not very good and some of this computer stuff, so needless to say I could not figure that out), so here is the winning number....

  1. What a beautiful sympathy card. So clever to use that Island block to 'gound' your image (!). And, you applied the rule of threes, too. Can you tell that I have been studying my new Papercrafting Design book? Anyway, this card works really well, and has a very comforting and soothing feel.

  12. This is such a beautiful sympathy card! I am going to have to remember this layout the next time I need one.

Thanks for the prize!!! Sorry I missed coming to check it out - I have been painting outside the last couple weeks trying to get things done before the rains start up again here in Seattle. Thought I would much rather be crafting and blog surfing!!! LOL! :)
