Papertrey Ink Day 4

Yeah, it is Friday and I am finally feeling better! Tomorrow we are heading to the San Francisco Giants FanFest and then Sunday I am taking my sweet sister to lunch to celebrate her birthday and then in between all of that I plan to have some time to be crafty.
Today's PTI challenge is to make a card using one of their stamp sets from Year of Flowers. I never purchased any of these because stamping flowers is not really my cup of tea, but a sweet friend of mine, Sherrie was selling several stamp sets and I wanted to purchase Year of Flowers - Daffodils and she just gave it to me! It has been sitting in my stamp bin since it arrived quite some time ago, but today it got to see some ink and I really like the end result. I CAS'd one of Malie's cards from when this set was originally released, you can see it here on her blog, Simply Stamped.  Be sure to head over to Nichole's blog and play along, you don't need the stamps to play either, just leave a comment to be entered, or do both, make a card and leave a comment.  Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a peek at my card...have a wonderful day!

  1. Wow--you wasted no time at all. This is just gorgeous, and looks like it might have been quick, too. It is so elegant, just with the outline, and I like how the leaf is going a little bit off of the page. Mind if I copy you?
