Two Cards...Two Challenges - ColourQ #185 and The Alley Ways #26

Happy Friday...today I was able to spend most of my day being crafty and so far I have 3 cards made and will be posting 2 tonight, the third one is for Waltzingmouse, they have a Flower Show challenge on Tuesday.  There is still plenty of time to play along, you can find all of the information here.  My first card is for this week's challenge for ColourQ and what a lovely selection of colors to use for inspiration for my card. I even pulled out some stamps that have never seen ink too, so fun to play with some new stamps that are not really new anymore. Who does not love a fresh box of crayons??? The smell alone sucks me in, so that is what I used to make my card, a color crayon stamp.

My second card is for this week's challenge at The Alley Ways Stamps, Be Inspired.  The set I used is Ooh La La, I won it some time back and have only used it once before, so it was fun to pull it out again to play with. I also tried out my new bottle of Glossy Accents, this stuff is amazing! I love the way it looks on my bottles of nail polish.  Thank you so much for stopping by to take a peek at my cards...have a wonderful weekend!

  7. Love both of your cards Kim! I will admit to being stumped at the Colorq colors this week, but you have used them brilliantly! Not only the colors, but you have an awesome design. And those little bottles of nail polish--oh so sweet! I can just see my little girls wanting those colors. The twine is just the perfect finishing touch too. Super cards! Bev

  8. I could smell the crayons the second I read your comment! You've definitely 'colored' my world this morning with sweet grade school memories! Awesome design - the crayons totally draw the focus to the ribbon, then down to the sentiment. The wee schmick of black absolutely makes these colors pop!

The 'glossy' nail polish is beautifully clean and simple with a sentiment that is perfect for this card! And, what would "Ooh La La" be without a wee bit of bling!

I'm so lovin' both of these cards!
