ColourQ #195 and CAS(E) this Sketch #34

Happy Friday! I have one card for two challenges to share tonight, ColourQ and CAS(E) this Sketch.  Love when this happens.  We are melting on the west coast today and will be for the next several days, not sure how warm it was today but warm enough to not have to cook and that works for me.  Darnell from djkardkreations was kind enough to share her fabulous old fashioned phone stamp with me and it gave me my idea...that and this week's sketch.  Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my card....have a wonderful weekend and stay cool!

In addition to getting this card made I took some time to organize my sequin collection.  Joyce from Cards-by-the-Sea was so sweet to share with me where she found this fabulous bead organizer and it is so perfect for sequins.  Michael's only had one so I will be going back for one more next week when I have another coupon.  You can't beat the price $5.40!

  7. This is the cutest use of the sketch. Love how you used number paper and the phone and hello--all three elements work so well together.

  8. Great card. Love how the phone emphasizes the "Hello"s. Perfect use of ColorQ's colors. Those are hard colors for me...And for my sequin/brad/eyelet storage, I headed right to the WalMart sporting goods department and got some tackle box thingies. Cheap and works great. Have a great weekend. Bev

  12. Sorry I'm late with my usual visiting, Kim! I think this awful heat just zaps my energy, even though I'm not out in it. It could be cabin fever, now that I think of it and the crap is supposed to hang over us for as far as the forecast goes, ugh. Wait. I promised myself I wouldn't whine about it. Oops.

But that's not why you called. Get it? Hahaha, I karack myself up.

In all seriousness, your card is perfection. You have NAILED the challenges, including the "cuteness" challenge that I personally have ongoing in my head all the time. I love, love, love it! You've made me fall in love with that stamp all over again!
