Dynamic Duo's #58 and Muse #23

Two more cards to share today, the first one is for this week's Dynamic Duo's and you still have time to play along too!  This week's colors threw me off at first, not colors I generally use but I have to say that I am very happy with the way they turned out. I used Soft Cantaloupe ink from Hero Arts and Canyon Clay ink from PTI and I love how they look together.  I even added a few pearls to dress up my Folk Art Medallion from Waltzingmouse Stamps.  I would have bet money that I had a clear block big enough to fit this stamp and not only that I was sure I had used it before too, but no on both accounts so that is why my medallion is off the edge.

My second card is for this week's challenge over at Muse and Anita from France is they guest designer this week so I had to play along...you still have time to join the party over there too.  I fell in love with the soft and sweet colors she used along with all the wonderful sequins, just a beautiful inspiration card.  Thank you so much for stopping by to peek at my cards....have a wonderful week.

  1. Well done, my friend. That first card is stunning--so happy you didn't have the proper acrylic block because your design over the edge is just perfect. And, your take on Anita's Muse card is just perfect--incredible use of that brand new stamp set, which I am so happy I commissioned you to buy for me!

  9. Had a giggle at you not having a block big enough for the medallion, Kim ... it's rather perfect as it is, with those delicious pearls, so p'raps it's a good thing you don't have one! I love your Muse card ... the simple sentiments, the soft colours and those glorious clear (?) sequins ... gorgeous! Thanks so much for playing along! Anita :)

but you know I might have a soft spot for the medallion! :)
And I use my cutting plate for it...
I thought I had a block big enough too...
