Waltzingmouse Blog Party - Summertime Fun

It is the 17th of the month and it is time for this month's Waltzingmouse Blog Party and the theme is summertime fun...and who does not love a good fireworks show? And after a baseball game is even better! This is my second attempt at my card, I wanted to make one using the cool star/flag stamp from 1776 but after I printed up some blue gingham card stock my blues did not match and I really wanted to use the gingham paper so I started over.  My card is pretty simple but I do those the little fireworks stamps that come in the set, so fun! You still have time to play and you can get all the details right here...
Before I forget, I learned something new today...NBUS, do you know what that means? Well I had no clue and have seen Darnell use it several times, even in commenting. I was in the dark or late to the party, not sure which but Darnell was sweet enough to "splane Lucy". It means Never Before Used Schtuff...very clever and a quick and easy way to say what you are using is new...another one of her "Darnellisims".
Thank you so much for stopping by to peek at my card...have a great week!

  9. Fabulously festive...and the blue gingham rocks! Love the fireworks stamp and the perfectly executed knot!

You mentioned that you printed out the gingham paper. I am definitely going to check out Pink Petticoat. I am quite a dunce when it comes to anything digital, so hopefully they have easy peasy instructions for technologically challenged folk like me :)
