Hello and Happy Tuesday! It seems like forever since I have posted a card and played around in blogland. Every year my daughter and I go to the 3 day rock music festival in Golden Gate Park called Outside Lands so that is why I have been missing the last few days. I still have time off before school starts so I will get caught up soon.
My card is a bit late today...this weeks colors from ColourQ challenge #254 are so beautiful don't you think? So bright and so many possibilities, hope you will find the time to play along this week.
Have to share a few photos from our fabulous weekend...so many great bands, so little time and about 80,000 other people to hang out with each day. We walked an average of 10 miles each day, one of the things I love about this festival, lots and lots of walking so we can eat the yummy food. The food was wonderful...fried pickles from the Frickle Brothers and fried Brussels Sprouts from The American Grilled cheese kitchen were my favorites of the weekend. This was the first time in the 4 years we have gone, we had 2 days of actual sunshine and warm weather making for the perfect long weekend. We saw Arctic Monkeys, Tom Petty and the Killers, they were all amazing...looking forward to next year and trying to guess who will be there. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by....enjoy your week!
Super cute Kim! I love the arrows pointing to the sequins. And that sounds like a great show!

ReplyDeleteA cool 'unisex' design, you're great at making those. I love making cards that are personal for the ones closest to me, but it's so practical to have cards laying around that can be given to a person of any age, for last minute invites and occasions. Well done!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic card, Kim ... I have these triangles and have so struggled to come up with a few designs for it ... yours, I love ... I may have to shamelessly CASE it! Oh my goodness, that concert ... Arctic Monkeys, Tom Petty ... and The Killers ... how totally awesome! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, thanks for your visits & sweet comments. I love this bold graphic card that you shared today. That design is fabulous, and I'm loving those sequins that matched the colored arrows. These are such happy colors too. Enjoyed sharing your outing with your sweet daughter. Sounds like such fun, and yummy food. These kinds of times are always more important than cardmaking & blogging, so enjoy while you have the opportunity. Hugs & TFS
