The 12 Kits of Occasions - July Edition

Sorry to be late in getting my cards posted. This past week has been very difficult for my family with the loss of a very good friend. I will not bore you with all the details but this young man was like a brother to my daughter, she was like a part of their family and his sister is Ashleigh's best friend and has been since they were in kindergarten. He was only 26 and died at the beach in Half Moon Bay, a sand tunnel digging accident. So needless to say I have not been in card making mode.
So on to my cards and Christmas in July! I love this holiday and so do my kids from summer school, they think I am a bit nuts and play along because there are always extra special treats and crafts. This month's kit is brought to you by Tracey from In My Creative Opinion. Once I saw the patterned paper l really wanted to hoard it, it is so beautiful! And so is the rest of her kit, lots of sweet snowmen, jingle bells and sweet sentiment. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by. Be sure to head over to The 12 Kits of Occasions blog to see all the festive holiday cards. Enjoy your weekend!

  5. I am truly amazed that you were able to make these beautiful cards, in light of what you are your family are going through right now. They are all really wonderful--brilliant use of the papers and kit ingredients. You found a way to use my favorite sentiment of the bunch--which I have saved--the one with the sparkly stuff. Loved that one and your card the most.

So for the cards first I love that diagonal patterned strip on the first and the sweet snowman at the bottom :) Then the card with the cutesy snowman? Totally my favorite! I just love that snowman!
