It has been way too long time since I have pulled out my Waltzingmouse stamps, and with their pajama party, it was the perfect opportunity. They have 4 challenges going on and I have a card/tag for each one.
My first card is for the Doodle Do challenge, where you do some doodling on your lettering. I used my NBUS set from WM, Tis the Season, stamped it in red and pulled out a silver pen for a bit of bling.
My second card is Too Cute to Spook, you pull out stamps to make a kid friendly Halloween card. In my opinion, WM makes some of the best Halloween stamps out there, so many fun and creepy images to play with.
The third challenge was to pull out some "old pajama's" for Christmas. I decided to make a tag for this one and used Santa's Coming To Town stamps. I love the Santa head image.
Their final challenge is Bedtime Story and using a sketch and I decided to balance things out, I have two Christmas projects and needed one more Halloween, so my final card is using the sketch for a Halloween card.
All 3 of my cards are made using some NBUS, stamps on the first 2 cards and paper on the final card, so I will entering these in Darnell's challenge, you can find the link here to play along.
Kim these are all beautiful and festive cards! I love how you doodled on the sentiment on the first card, it looks fantastic!

ReplyDeleteWonderful cards and tags. Really love the doodled sentiment on the first one.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards, Kim! Beautiful work! Love the doodling on the first card! Hugs
ReplyDeleteLove them all Kim, but super partial to the Doodle Do with silver dots! Really, all wonderful!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards Kim! especially the first one with the little bells and ribbon!
ReplyDeleteWOW Kim these are all just fabulous!! I am in love with the pretty Christmas sentiment on your first card!!
ReplyDeleteAnother masterful array of art for us, Kim! I usually can't pick a favorite when you do more than one card, but this time I love that first Christmas card hands down, feet sideways, and fingers in my ears!! Doodling silver "snow" on half the sediment is nothing short of genius and you know you had me at plaid!! Great job using all that NBUS and thank you for promoting my challenge be continuing to link just for fun after your first three entries!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteWell, it's a good thing you pulled out those stamps, Kim! Such great work--love them all, especially the first one with the bells!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely creations for the WMS pajama party Kim! Your Christmas card with the plaid and bells and the silver doodling on the sentiment is so festive! Both Halloween cards are so fun and spooky - and your little tag will look great adorning a gift!
ReplyDeleteYou've been busy Kim - I only managed to get one card done for the WMS challenge. I've always loved the Santa silhouette and it looks wonderful on the simple tag. I think the halloween card is my favourite...can't beat a bit of orange and black!
ReplyDeleteKim these are terrific, I absolutely love the touch of silver on the lettering in the first card! Genius thinking there - LOVED to see Cecily out and about too, one of my fave stamps! Super cards Kim, thank you for playing along with us at WMS and good luck in the prize drawing!
ReplyDeleteWOW, Kim...these projects are amazing. Your jingle bells on your Christmas card are such a perfect embellishment, and the doodling is fabulous! Your Halloween card is so much fun with that spider paper...EEK! Thanks for playing along with the WMS PJ Party!
ReplyDeletetotally aweosme
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards! I especially love the first one, so CAS and perfect, love the jingle bells!
ReplyDeleteHoly Cow Kim! Were you ever a busy girl. I love all your projects - the double stamp Santa tag, and your doodling on the letters on the first. I'm gonna pick a fave this time - The Too Cute To Spook. I LOVE that you didn't color the image - it looks amazing - and is a real stand out because you added so much color in other ways - the paper trimming (or is it washi?) and sequins. You out did your self!
ReplyDeleteLove all of them, particularly this first one. You have reminded me to use the little silver bells I have here somewhere!
ReplyDeleteI can't pick a favorite!! What I love about all of them is the simple and effective design, so perfect for the seasons they're made for!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous selection of cards, Kim ... each so amazing ... my favourite has to be the first ... I love how you doodled the silver snow onto the bold, vibrant sentiment ... and those wee bells are adorable! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful!!! Your projects are all super. Love the clean, simple design on the Christmas card with the added bells! And the tag too - great stuff. The clean lines on the first Halloween card are fab, but it's the second Halloween card I love! I really like the way you've made the poem the focal point with the cute little circle accents.
ReplyDeleteA fab range of cards/tags for the PJ party, Kim! Love your doodling and also the Christmas tag as I love that Santa silhouette too :)
ReplyDeleteOh my Kim!! You've been busy!! And you've created some fabulous cards and tags!! LOVE your doodling on the first...it looks like snow! And your second is super charming. I have to agree, too, that Claire makes some of the most awesome Halloween stamps! Love your red Santa silhouette too. So clever! And your sketch card is awesome with the bold orange and black/white stripes!!
ReplyDeleteWow, what an incredible spread of cards. I love them all. I cannot believe I completely forgot about this party. I think my favorite is that tag with Santa's silhouette--love how you stamped the sentiment right on top.
ReplyDeleteLove all your cards, but the 1st one has to be my favorite: I love the clean lines, the plaid background, and the bells on the ribbon!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to start calling you "Darnell Junior!!!!" This is a boatload of comments, but also well deserved. These cards are fantastic!! I love that you made a non-scary Halloween card; I do that as well for the little ones. Your first doodlie card is my favorite, but they're all wonderful. Well done, sweetie!! Bev
ReplyDeleteEach one of these if fun, Kim! I like your clean and bold style. :)
ReplyDeleteSweet set of cards!! I am particularly taken with your doodling on the sentiment - what a fun look!!
ReplyDeleteLook at you go, Kim, rockin' the holidays with a series of amazing cards!! I'll simply echo the others in cheering, applauding and wildly happy dancing at how creative and impressive they are! The first card...swooning...
