ColourQ #265

Hello and Happy Tuesday and welcome to my blog...first off I need to apologize for not being on top of commenting, I was on vacation last week and now trying to play catch up with home, work and crafting too. So I will be getting back into the swing of things this week and will be back to blogland sooner than later.
I have a quick post today for this week's ColourQ #265 challenge...aren't the colors just amazing! They scream Halloween, right???? My card was inspired by a new technique I learned last week and I have to say I am hooked, so hooked that I will be ordering all the mini Tim Holtz distress ink pads and adorable tin storage containers. More on where I learned this on tomorrow's mid-day blog post. Anyway, I took me about 4 tries to get my sky looking some what decent and spooky all at the same time. Well I hope you will find the time to play along with us at ColourQ, you can never have too many Halloween cards.
Thank you so much for taking time to stop by...enjoy the rest of your day!

  4. I think you did a fantastic job with the sky, aren't Distress Inks so fun to play with???!!! I would love them all too, especially with the new tins. And the clouds on your card, I haven't seen any like that before. They are perfect for an 'eerie night-time' look. Hope your slowly catching up, that's always the drawback of going away but I'm sure all the good memories of the fun you have are totally worth it!

  9. I'm doing the same thing, Kim ... it's been a whirlwind here too since I got home and tonight is the first time I've managed to get into blogland and start commenting! You have that new technique off to a fine art ... actually you did the first time you used it ... I saw it ... in real life!! This is fantastically spooky ... such a fun sentiment and even the clouds look spooky! Hope life is settling a little for you, my friend! Hugs, Anita :)
