The Card Concept - Sunflowers


Hello...it is already Wednesday, this week is zipping by. I have one card to share today for the new challenge at The Card Concept and it is so perfect for this time of year. Sunflowers are so pretty, we grow them at the school I teach at and harvest the seeds each year. I had no clue how many of those little seeds come off of one sunflower, just amazing.
My card is for the Classy and Elegant style...I really struggled with this one and hate to admit that lots of samples hit the recycle bin. I finally pulled out some rainstones and thought they added a bit of class to my card. The sunflowers were so much fun to make and I hope you will find the time to play along with us at The Card Concept. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by...enjoy the rest of your week.

    Gorgeous stamped sunflowers, Kim. And, I think your card is very Classy and extremely Elegant. Those rainstones are the perfect finishing touch.

    Seeing your finished card it looks like a simple thing to make, but I KNOW from my experience that these clean designs are the ones that require much time and usually several trial and errors. I love how it turned out, those rain stones do add that classy feel you were after. Beautiful work, well done!

    Years ago, I grew sunflowers and discovered, as you did, how many seeds can fit into one flower's head. Truly amazing! Speaking of amazing:your card! Beautiful flowers, lovely arrangement and yes, you've conveyed 'classy and elegant' perfectly! Smitten....

    Oh, Kim you did it! This is so elegant and I love those beads, I have my own now . You were so sweet to offer to share them with Joyce I when we were together.
