The 12 Kits of Occasions - November Edition

Hello...hope everyone in the US had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, ours of was nice a quiet with lots of yummy food. Did anyone do any Black Friday shopping? We get up early but not too early and headed for San Francisco, I get dropped off downtown at Union Square and my hubby and daughter drove over to Haight Street for Black Friday - Record Store Day at Amoeba. I spent the morning having breakfast at Lefty O'Douls and then wondering around all 4 floors of Britex, the entire store was 30%, so I stocked up on fabric.

  5. I loved your post today Kim! Loved the pictures and places you visited TFS . You did a wonderful job with your own kit so many wonderful cards! I love the last one with the tinny cookie cutters,I have had those in and out of my cart so many times. Thank you for such a fun kit where as you say: the cards made themselves.

  6. Here in Norway we don't have thanksgiving. But this year some stores did take the opportunity to arrange Black Friday sales, but I passed.
You've created so many different Santa cards! Extremely hard, even impossible, to pick a favorite! I think the embossed paper with Santa's belt is a clever idea. I also like the large Santa on the red and white card. But the card with Santa's face only is also lovely, this Santa has a really sweet and 'good old Santa' face.

  8. Fantastic group of cards. Love them all. The first is especially clever. Love that idea of the belt. I think we actually have one card that match each other. Funny that it has taken years for this to happen.

  9. What a great day you had, Kim ... and what gorgeous cards you created with your kit! It's particularly fun because I saw some of it being prepared at the Lake House ... so not only such a treat seeing your wonderful creations, it was also a treat being reminded of the wonderful time we had! So delighted that you played along with us at Time Out with that fab Santa suit card! Hugs, Anita :)

  15. Great cards Kim, I like the red embossed with the Santa belt. But I really enjoyed all the photos of SF. A few years ago we went there the day after Thanksgiving and omg it was so crowded. My son does not do anything early so by the time we got into the city (from Palo Alto) we kept on moving and ending up going to a water museum by Sausalito. Also we almost ran out of gas in
    Richmond (harrowing experience). Happy Holidays

  16. Thanks so much for this beautiful kit Kim and so sorry I was late posting. Your shopping spree looks wonderful - you got to see so much! That fabric store looks amazing! Your cards are wonderful too and I love them all. I think we were thinking the same for two of them. My fave is the "note from Santa" - I love the mix of papers and sparkle you added!

  18. Kim this was just the jolliest of kits, thank you SO much! I always love to see what the Kit Queen's vision was by looking at the cards she made and yours are spectacular! I have saved my Santas for casing, and am really glad I did after seeing your creations. The Santa with the silver Believe and the holly leaf of his hat is my fave. Love the cookie card with the sweet treats, my girls would love that one so much!

  24. LOVE your cards...no surprise there! :) I totally want to CASE your large Santa believe card and frame it. I loved the image so much I just couldn't use it on a card for fear I'd mess it up. Cannot wait to use some of my leftover goodies for notes to/from Santa this year. I know my son will think it is amazing. Thank you so much for your fabulous kit. I REALLY loved it!
