I have one card to share for 3 challenges, Colour Me #64, Darnell's NBUS and SSS - Anything Goes. I was inspired by Maile's card and love the idea of repeating sentiments. I kept mine a bit simple but really love the look.
Ingredients
Solid Card Stock: Michael's - White and PTI - Pure Poppy
Stamps: PTI - Swoosh
Ink: SU - Cherry Cobbler, Bermuda Bay and Tempting Turquoise and VersaFine - Black
Sequins: My Stash
A fabulous CAS card Kim, a great sentiment and a super way of stamping the sentiment!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining us with Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
hugs

LOVE this, Kim! Sure hope you are feeling better now. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHey...we all need down time to regenerate, so absolutely no need to apologize! My advice - don't even try to catch up on comments...just start off fresh when you're feeling up to it!
ReplyDeleteLOVE these colors and absolutely adore the clean, clean, clean feel of your card. A square-ish font paired with the whimsical 'birthday' is so effective! Another awesome card pal!
These colourful repeat sentiments are wonderful, Kim ... and I love those shimmery sequins with them! Hope you're feeling back in the pink, my lovely friend! Hugs & bisous to you across the miles, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteA great way to use a simple sentiment stamp! Love this idea and that you used different colored inks. Cool!
ReplyDeleteNo worries girlfriend. We all have off moments; then we rebound! Am loving this sweet CAS card. You won't believe this, but I was bad again, and ordered this very set yesterday. I hope I can make it work as well as you did. This is gorgeous. Pops of bright color, shiny sequins and lots of lovey white space. Great card. Love it. Missing you tons. Bev
ReplyDeleteI love your swoosh times three! Such a cool birthday card, and a fun use of the colors.
ReplyDeleteLovely CAS card!
ReplyDeleteWhat a creative way to use the color combo--love this, Kim!
ReplyDeleteThis is really wonderful. Love how you staggered those sentiments.
ReplyDeleteThis is fun Kim! Thanks for playing at Colour Me!
ReplyDeleteClean, simple and cheerful! This is a great card design and wonderful use of the Colour Me challenge colours. :)
ReplyDeleteKim I really like your NBUS, I have never seen that set, but you used it brilliantly!
ReplyDeleteSweet, simple and perfect use of the challenge colors, Kim! I love the font on the sentiment. Thanks so much for sharing with us this week at Colour Me!
ReplyDeleteWow - I must say I love the look of this card too!! The sentiments are just perfectly placed and I like the flow of them and the changing of script to regular type!! Super great colors!! Sorry to hear you have felt a little under the weather - I am thinking of you and wishing you a blessed day!!
ReplyDeleteDon't ever feel any pressure to comment on my posts, your health and well being is much more important!! Hope your feeling much better and will be so nice to have your daughter back with you again. Phoebe went on camp yesterday and comes back Thursday afternoon. Very strange not having her here but I know she will be having a blast. Whenever I come across a colour combo I'm not sure about, you knock a card out of the park with the some combo. I really like this card and love the font of the sentiment. Keep putting your feet up and eat a few Easter eggs, chocolate is always good!
ReplyDeletePerfectly CAS, I love the placement of the sentiments and sequins!
ReplyDeleteI love the offset sediments and how deliciously CAS this is, Kim! You never need to apologize to me, my friend. I'll bet you are so happy to have your daughter back home and I hope you are feeling better. Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteExcellent card, Kim! I love the three different colors while the sequins are all red (my favorite color!)!!
ReplyDeleteIt is absolutely perfect!
Great idea, to use only the sentiment!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of who's behind in commenting, dear friend (pick me!). By now, I hope you're feeling much better. As the others have mentioned, we all fall behind, or have missing mojos, or have 'life' things calling to us. Eventually, we find our way back and guess what: we're all still here, delighted to have you return. Your card, with its bright colours, is gorgeous! Love, love and love!
