I know I am very late to the party, just can't seem to get my act together these days! It is getting better but I hate when I am not on time for a dear special friends special day....So Happy Birthday Miss Bev from Happy Dance. If you are not familiar with Bev's wonderful blog be sure to grab a cup of your favorite beverage and take a peek, you will be amazed. You can't have a birthday without a cake, so here you go Bev, if we lived closer to one another I would bake one just like for you. If you missed the party that Anita threw for Bev, here is the link, just wait until you see Bev's new craft island!
Hi Kim, this is simple but awesome! I love that! Is that special dies? Super pretty!
ReplyDeleteSo fun and and so creative :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of inlay, but it looks fantastic and how clever to use the ornaments as flowers!
ReplyDeleteI've been sitting here trying to figure out how you made that fabulous, colourful, celebratory blooms, Kim ... and I'm stumped! What a fun and brilliant card for sweet Bev ... she'll love it ... and she'll love that you've extended her birthday beautifully! What an amazing cake ... all that chocolatey yumminess in one place ... save a piece for me! Thanks so much for the shout out, mon amie! Hugs & bisous, bisous, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteSo colorful and eye catching. It looks like you've used the inlay die cutting technique, must have been quite fiddly to put together? But great result though!
ReplyDeleteFeasts for the eyes, Kim, starting with that decadent candy corn and chocolate fingers cake, and followed by your brilliant 'ornaments' transformed card! Bright and cheery - and a card I know Bev will love, as do I!
ReplyDeleteHugs~c
