Muse #283

Hello....Happy Monday! Welcome to this week's Muse challenge inspiration. It's my week for inspiration and I made this fun hippo card while visiting Joyce last month. Not sure which stamp this is from other than I know it's one of My Favorite Things. I had so much fun coloring these festive party hippos. I hope you find some time to play along, I can't wait to see what you make! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your day!

Sorry to be missing around blogland, I had surgery on my right hand a week ago and being left handed really takes time and work. I've never had a cast before and can't wait to get this thing off and back to creating! So please forgive me for not making it to everyone's blog.

  3. Hi Kim. OMG I'm so sorry about your hand. I hope you will be able to get the cast off soon. I've never had to deal with that either. I'm sure it's a giant pain.

And your card is so cute. I love the sweet hippo background you created. Super fun!

  5. What a clever way to use this cute hippo design. It made such an impact using it as a design paper background, and was so delightful. Good luck with the hand. Can just imagine it must feel so awkward to have to use your other hand plus the uncomfortableness of the cast. So take it easy, and hopefully the cast will be off soon, and you recover the use of your hand.If therapy is suggested, by all means, do it! TFS & Take care. Hugs

  14. Tgis is so sweet and fun. I’ve got this stamp set, have only played with it once so far, but I probably wouldn’t have came up with an idea to use it this way. Love it! Good luck with the cast and the recovery.
