Just a quick post with this weeks ColourQ #256 card and the colors are so fun, such an amazing retro feel to them. So I had to pull out another NBUS set from PTI's Stamp a Faire this year. I did not play along this year but fell in love with the 60's era stamps and dies, they so remind me of The Jetson's cartoons. Hope you will find time this week to play along, I am looking forward to seeing your wonderful creations! Thank you so much for taking time to stop by...enjoy your week!

Happy Saturday....I have one card to share and one fun back to school gift tag. My card is for the current challenge at CAS-ology and it seems like it has been forever since I have played along with them. When I saw this week's cue card, I did not want to miss playing along. So I have a question for you...how my coffee stamp sets does it take to make just one CAS coffee card??? In my case 3, Paper Smooches - Cyber Cafe, The Alley Ways - Breakfast Club and Reverse Confetti - Be a Barista. What a fun card to make too.
We started school this past Thursday and I wanted to make some fun treats for my sweet co-workers and I saw this adorable little book worm some where in blogland and had to purchase the files from Silhouette and make some too. Don't you think he is just the cutest! I filled treat bags with some yummy candy (Twix, Sour Patch Kids and Plain M&M's) and tied them off with black and white gingham ribbon and red bakers twine. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by...enjoy the rest of your week!

The new challenge at The Card Concept is based on this beautiful photo #17 - Be Inspired...I am in love with this bedding, so pretty and what an amazing design. What inspired me from this photo are the shapes of the petals/leaves and I thought this butterfly was a perfect match. My card design this challenge is freestyle collage, not a card style I make much of but it was fun to give it a try. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your week!

Happy Tuesday! Had a fabulous day...worked in my classroom today getting supplies organized for all the little munchkins, nothing smells better than a fresh box of crayola crayons! School starts on Thursday...seems like summer has just zipped by. I have this week's ColourQ card for challenge #255, the colors are just beautiful and I had so much fun making my card. I pulled out a NBUS cover plate from My Favorite Things called Floral Fusion, so pretty right...I hope you all find time to play along this week, looking forward to seeing your wonderful creations. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by...enjoy your week!

I have one card to share today and it is for the current challenge at Colour Me Challenge #33 and this week's colors are so amazing, bright and vivid and fun to play with. Also wanted to thank you ladies at Colour Me for selecting my card from last week's challenge as the winner, what an amazing honor...thank you so much Sherrie!
We have finally recovered from last weekend's rock festive, the older I get the longer it takes but I have so much fun it is worth it. This week was busy doing fun stuff because school starts this coming Thursday, can't believe summer break is almost over. On Monday I met up with Darnell and Harriet and we went to the Hero Arts outlet in Richmond, it was so so tiny but we all managed to spend money that has to say something. And then a nice lunch after at Pyramid Brewery in Berkeley. Tuesday I went back to San Francisco for lunch with another sweet friend and we ate outside at a cute French Cafe, so fun. In fact this thank you card is for her, she is one of the sweetest ladies I know. Wednesday I had my hair done and Thursday my sweetie took me to Half Moon Bay for a wonderful lunch at Sam's Chowder House. No time to make cards until this weekend...I have more to share but you will have to wait to see those. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by....enjoy your week!
