This has been an amazing year for The 12 Kits of Christmas challenge...I have met some amazingly incredible and talented ladies! Our wonderful and talented hostess this month is Sharron. She put together a fun winter themed kit that had so many fun ingredients.
This month is kind of bittersweet, 2 ladies will be moving on and 2 more joining the party. Cathy and Suzanne will no longer be sharing their cards on our monthly challenges, they will be missed so much and it is sad to say goodbye to them. Kelly and Tracey will be joining us starting in January, both of these ladies are so creative and I am sure you already have seen some of their creations. We also have another fun surprise starting in January too! Be sure to come back next month to find out what it is.
I had so much fun making so many Christmas cards this year and I was able to use them as my cards to send out along with our family photo rather than the Costco Photo cards, it was a nice change and I hope to do this again next year. Thank you so much for stopping by and before you go I have added the links to the rest of the the ladies blogs so you can see what they came up with using this fabulous kit!

I was a little sad that I did not get the kit with the self assembling cards in it this month so I laid all of the supplies on my desk and moved things around until some ideas started popping in my head. I still have plenty of supplies left over to CASE cards too. I was able to get 5 cards made plus one CASE card, so I guess it was ok that someone else received that kit this month.
Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a peek!
This is the card that I CAS'ed for this month, one of Suzanne's card from a couple of months back.

Hi Kim! I am smiling from ear to ear at all the glitter! I love it! I really love the look of that red bird on the pine bough - he really pops and all the green and patterns look great together. And thank you for case-ing me! I gave that card to Jessica for Christmas. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! I love the trio of trees and that gorgeous sledding card! I have had so much fun this year and I look forward to next year's 12 kits!! I forgot to CASE a card..oops!! Love yours though:)
ReplyDeleteAwesome cards !
ReplyDeleteGreat minds must think alike--your first two cards & two of mine are strikingly similar. We both used the red bird on the pine bough and glittered up all three trees!! Love your fabulous sled scene--such wonderful ribbon treatment! And I adore your pretty white glittery tree. I think my favorite is the deer card. The more modern, graphic look you got with that paper in the the background is so cool--LOVE it! I totally forgot about doing a CASE this month. Yours is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards, Kim!
ReplyDeleteLove that simple glittery tree...
I think it's my fave!
And then the 3 panels...
and the winter deer scene...
they're all fabulous!!
Such an incredible kit...
but they've all been so much fun...
I can't wait to see what's in store for 2013!! :)
OK...well...I know what January and February hold...
but I'm going to be surprised for the rest of the year after that! :)
Happy 2013!!
So many pretty cards today Kim, but my favorite is that great silhouette of the girl on the sled. I love the way you tied and trimmed that bow and added the jingle bells. Really cute! I hope you have a great New Years!
ReplyDeleteKim I love all of the glitter and the beautiful patterned papers you used so well. I love how you frmed the sentiment on your first card, the three panels on the second with the glittery tree make me smile! The perfect choice of background for the sledder and the gorgeous royal blue bow with the jingle bell. Now moving on to the glittery white tree--LOVE! The deer scene is so pretty and finally an excellent CASE! Happy New Year Kim! I know that 2013 is going to be a wonderful year, i am so glad we have gotten to know eachother this year. xoxo
ReplyDeleteWow Kim you sure went to town. Every time I see one card I think is going to be my favorite I see another one l love. Love the shinny trees card. Oh my gosh I love the one with the gorgeous bow and the way you tied it and added the bells…. LOVE IT! This kits was so much fun. I cant wait to start our second year. I hope you and your family have a wonderful New Years, Kim
ReplyDeleteLook at all of those fabulous cards! You made so many beautiful creations this month, Kim. I love the little red bird in the branch and the way you glittered the trees. The deer scene is so pretty, too. I'm already looking forward to another year working with you on these wonderful kits!
ReplyDeleteAnother sensational group of makes from the 12 Kits, Kim! I love seeing how all you ladies bring us such different (well, okay, sometimes similar, but that's okay) inspiration, which we can never have too much of, can we?! I can't wait to see what you all do in 2013!!
ReplyDeleteWow--you made so many incredible cards from this kit. Good thing they were not self assembling, because you did such a fantastic job. I love how you did the deer on that last card. They look so great with that glittered slope and the starkness of the single tree. Love how you used that velvet ribbon on your sledding card. Love all the glitter, too. Just love them all.
ReplyDeleteKim! What a great job you did this month :) 5 gorgeous cards and a case! So it is super hard to choose...I think though, the deer card wins by a hair ;)I love all those sparkly trees and the little sled, too, though!
