Happy Friday! Tonight I made 2 cards for 4 different challenges, I had a busy week with not much crafty time and I had to get some cards made tonight. I would love to make a few more but I am having a difficult time keeping my eyes open so this will be a short post. My first card is for this week's Muse challenge, this is my second time playing and it is so much fun to take one person's idea and put your own spin on it. Joyce from Cards-by-the-Sea made a card for this challenge too and I loved that she used her crackle stamp so I had to pull mine out too, it was so happy to finally see some ink.

ReplyDeleteI was just the same this week, Kim, not too much crafty time! Oh my, at that time of night you got sooo creative?? The colour balance on your circle card is just wonderful and the sparkly borders really draw the eye to the sentiment. Splendid take on the Muse card, the crackle is perfect with the posie ... I love that you used red for the sentiment to complement the flowers! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteLove both of your cards...your MUSE card is really stunning. And you have done a perfect "circle" card! I am impressed that one card can cover so many challenges! You are one organized lady! Great cards!
ReplyDeleteYou nailed both of these - Great colours and I love the 'crackle' on the Muse card. The glitter and that lime green make your circle card really stand out! Thanks so much for playing along with us at CASology this week!
ReplyDeleteWOW Kim. Both cards are great! I love the crackle stamping on your Muse card, and the flowers--your interpretation of Deanna Jean's card is spot on. Truly lovely. And I can see winner for both cards in both challenges! Bev
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are awesome!!! I love how you used the crackle stamp for the frame. The glitter borders with the stamped circles on the second card are perfect! :)

ReplyDeleteI love that crackle stamp...I should use it more myself...
and it's fabulous with Rosie Posie!
And the colors, circles and glitter...
love it!! :)
I see what I miss by going to bed early! These two cards are just stunning. First--I love that crackle in green--it's so pretty. And, it is wonderful to see you using those rosie posie flowers--I think you are fully converted to loving flower sets now. And, that sentiment from the new birthday set--just perfect. Your circle card is just fabulous. I love the idea of those circles just tumbling around, contained by that pretty glitter.
