It's May 31st...I swear this month has zipped by! It is almost the end of the school year and summer is right around the corner and it is time for our 12 kits post! This month's hostess with the mostess is Joyce from Cards-by-the-Sea and what a fabulous kit. I don't own much in the way of nautical so this was so much fun to play with (one of my favorite things about this group, getting to work with stamps and goodies you don't have and all the left overs). The colors were fun too and perfect for this time of year, lots of red, white and blue. Be sure to head over to our 12 kits blog here and see all the fabulous and manly cards made. We also have 2 guests this month, Sherrie from A Little Bit of Everything Me and Lindsay from Occasionally Crafting, both amazing card makers. Thank you so much for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

ReplyDeleteThese are all so fabulous, Kim ... the shaker card is amazing ... and I just love the first with those bold blocks of DP behind such a wonderful sentiment! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteI was scrolling down looking at all your cards thinking how beautiful they are - clean - you did Joyce proud. Gorgeous shots that show off all the yummy colors, and then BAM I hit that shaker card and I flipped. A real knock out Kim! I never thought of putting solid stamped images in a shaker and now I have something new to try. Great post - you blew me away!
ReplyDeleteThese are ALL such fabulous looking cards! hard to pick a favorite! but let's see....
ReplyDeleteI love the sentiment in your first card and how you combined the red, white and blue colors. The one with the stars and the boat also caught my eye. I think it's a design that works for a man of any age!
Hey Kim, pokey me here. I love all of your super creative cards from Joyce' s fantastic kit. The birthday die cut card is so fun with the big circles, the star cover plate card may be my favourite, your flip flops, choices of patterned papers and your fabulous shaker are some highlights for me! Definitely lots of inspiration, have a fabulous week ahead!
ReplyDeleteIt was so fun to join you guys this month! What a wonderful set of cards Kim! Love how you used the star coverplate especially. I'm definitely CASEing your birthday crab card.
ReplyDeleteHoly smokes, Kim - this is a gallery of gorgeous...oops, handsome and striking (need to use the 'manly' words *grin*)...cards. Each one is ablaze with creativity, ingenuity and down-right amazing-ness! I can just picture opening the kit, settling in to decide what goes with which, and then immersing yourself in the play of crafting. The results: nothing short of outstanding! At the moment, I have nautical-nothing in my collection BUT 'someone' may have ordered 'something' to rectify that...now comes the waiting part. Guaranteed I'll be casing some of these once my little ship-themed things make their appearance. All are fabulous, but the last one really tickles my fancy! Dazzlling...Hugs~c
ReplyDeleteThese are also so well done....but I do have a favorite that adorable "flip flop" card!
ReplyDeleteTalk about busy!! How did you come up with such different and gorgeous creations??!! They all look amazing. I especially love the sentiment on your first card (so lovely) and your shaker card with the die cut anchors etc...so a brilliant idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing job you did with the kit! No way to narrow down a favorite, but I do love the crab happy birthday card, the flip-flops are too cute, and the sequins/die cut filled shaker is BRILLIANT...okay...maybe that one is my favorite. :)
