Now on to my cards...2 of them for the same challenge. I fell in love with this week's colors at ColourQ Challenge #249, so I could not stop at one. My first card is using a NBUS that I won from The Alley Ways Stamps, Mrs. Rogers Neighborhood, their stamps are very whimsical and fun. While looking around their site for some inspiration I found that they added cut files for most of their stamp sets, so much more affordable too...a $1.50 for cut files for an entire stamp set!
My second card is using a wonderful set from Verve...Poppy Birthday and I took some inspiration from Joyce's card at Cards-By-The-Sea and you can see her card here. Thank you so much for stopping by to peek at my cards...enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Glad you had a fantastic day! Your TAWS card is just adorable. And the colors are so great for the 'celebrate' card--LOVE the font on that sentiment!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful Mother's Day in July!! CUTE cards today, both so happy. Thanks so much for joining us at the ColourQ!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are just delightful and super cute. And your day at the game sounds like a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteSuch cute images for your welcome home card, they've got a cute childish feel to them and I like how you used different colors for outlining. Your second card has a more modern and grownup look, those different colored circles look great!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little neighborhood you put together! So fun.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great Mother’s Day gift for you! Sounds like a great time. The first card is adorable and the dies seem like a wonderful price. Love your CQ card!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great present from your daughter! So glad it was a fabulous day! Your cards are darling, Kim. I especially love the second one!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a fabulous day with your daughter! Nothing like mommy-daughter time!
ReplyDeleteGrand Slam with these two cards! Your wee neighborhood scene is sooooo cute AND I did not know that TAWS has cut files (where have I been?). Awesome colors on your celebrate card! The 'poppies' are marvelous!
Kim, both cards are terrific! However, you know I just LOVE the Verve card! You totally rocked the Poppies in these colors! Stunning! Sounds like a wonderful day and mom's gift all in one!
ReplyDeleteOh what an awesome Mother's Day gift!! Really LOVE your use of washi tape on the first card (what a fun yellow road instead of the expected black!!) and the swirls are just too fun on your last card. A good match for that swirly font!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous gift, Kim ... so pleased you had such a terrific day! Fabulous cards ... such an adorable scene with all those sweet popped up elements ... and those poppies with that delicious sentiment ... awesome ... love it! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day! I love these card too! Such a fun scene on the first card and I love the flowers in the corners of the second.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun cards, Kim, love both of them! How cool that you and your daughter got to share the time at a baseball game! I am an Atlanta Braves fan myself and should have gone to a game when I lived in Denver as it would have been so easy! What a wonderful memory! Thanks for playing with us at the colourQ, always enjoy visiting your blog.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning CAS creations and wonderful takes on the colour inspiration.

What a fabulous daughter you have!! Bet you both had a fantastic time. And what a coincidence that all those special things were happening for that game...totally mean't to be!! Your first card is so sweet. I love those stamps, they remind me of little children drawings....gorgeous. And love the design for your second card. I struggled with those colours this week but you used them perfectly. Hope your summer holidays are still hot and sunny. Could you please send some warmth over to NZ if you have a chance??
ReplyDeleteBoth beautiful cards! Perfect for the challenge. What a fun day out too!
ReplyDeleteSweetness throughout this entire post, beginning with your mom-daughter time at the baseball game (seeing a ML game is on my bucket-list). How wonderful to enjoy special time, just the two of you. On to your cards...sweet neighbourhood scene in the first, and darling poppies in the second. The sentiment font is fabulous! Happy sighhh...a visit here sure refreshes my day!!

Fabulous cards! I love the fun colors!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing better than a day at the ball park! I'm not a big enough fan to care whether we win or lose, but I still loving being there! Loving your cards too. That is such a charming neighborhood - I love the ground you have created. And the clusters of those poppies is such a fun look.
