Lake House Cards.....

Happy Sunday...I have a few cards to share with you today that I made while I was at the Lake House with the BABES. What a wonderful place to be creative, all the amazing talent of these women sitting at the same table and all the wonderful supplies that we all brought to share with one another. I did a lot of cas'ing and we inspired by each one of these sweet ladies. Sorry...there are a lot of photos on this post, just could not resist sharing a few more with you.  Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your week!

This card is one I cas'ed from Ardyth, she got the idea for this card from another blogger, sorry I do not know the name to give her the credit. Thank you Ardyth for all your amazing inspiration and help.

Anita used these sweet flowers on her cards and I was so happy that she brought them to share. I think they make a beautiful sympathy card.

This was a fun card to make...Darnell and I stood that island in the kitchen for way more time than it should have taken us to make a shaker card, but I love the end results and Darnell's card is so beautiful.

 Another case of Ardyth's creations.

Neat & Tangled was showing their new stamp release and I fell in love with this card. I pulled out PTI's Tinsel and Tags that Ardyth brought and used the little trees, thank goodness Geri brought every color of ink and I used Bev's sweet little snowflakes to finish it off!

This card is a combination of one Darnell made at the Lake House and one that Tracey from In My Creative Opinion made. I am not sure who's snowman I borrowed but I have to say having 2, 8 foot tables loaded with supplies made it so much for to stamp.

My final card is one I made for ColourQ challenge #264. Anita and I had fun playing with all these sweet little posies from WP9.

  1. Kim, holy smokes, how on Earth did you get this much crafting done with all the crafty friends distractions?! I loved hearing about all the supplies, and ideas, you borrowed from everyone ... I can only imagine how fun that must have been! Good for you for not being overwhelmed, too. All gorgeous cards ... I particularly love the sponged sky on your first card. It's glowing!

  2. That was another great recap, Kim! You and Anita were, by far, the most productive of the BABES and it's nice to see all these wonderful cards that you created!! (I will need to show you how to crop a photo, however; my card is cute, but no one needs to be distracted again by that unflattering face that Bevie captured and posted! lol!) Your beautiful floral final card reminds me that I want to CASE that one of yours, and order those cool sediment stamps! Hugs, Darnell

  3. I was imagining with all the giggling and talking that would have been going on, that you only managed to make one or two cards!! I can't get over those two tables of goodies, it would have been like Xmas! Brilliant CAS's of cards and how good to be able to CASE with the owner of the card right there. I love looking at your photos, so don't hesitate to share any more you have!!

No one won the lottery yet, so it has grown to over 170 million. Will play and win on Wednesday. Then, it's island craft house here we come!!!! Missing you... Bev

  15. Fabulous work, Kim! Isn't it great how we can pick inspiration from others to make our own versions of a design. I love visiting blogs, it gives me so many ideas. I even pick ideas from here, even though our styles are very different. Think the flower one is really beautiful, I like its colors, the same goes for the ones with different colored trees, not something I'd ever think of trying if it weren't for you.
