Hello...just a quick post today. I am have been trying to finish setting up all my Christmas decorations today in between doing laundry and a wee bit of crafting too. I have one card to share today for 2 challenges, PTI"s Make it Monday, I have not played along for some time but when I saw glitter, I really wanted to do something. And since I was using all silver, it goes perfectly with the current challenge at ColourMe. Enjoy your day and thank you so much for stopping by. Be sure to check back tomorrow for the winner of the my little "name this band" contest.
I used the PTI"S Nativity Silhouette's but wanted my "frame" to be a bit bigger than the stamp so I used score tape and added silver glitter to make it look just the frame from the stamp set. Everything used for this card is NBUS and I am in love with the silver Delicata ink....thank you so much Tracey and Joyce for twisting my arm to buy it, now I need to play with the gold.
Ingredients
Solid Card Stock: Michael's - White
Stamps: PTI - Nativity Silhouette
Dies: PTI - Nativity Silhouette
Glitter: Martha Stewart
Ink: Delicata - Silvery Shimmer
Score Tape

ReplyDeleteUsing glitter for the stable is such a great idea, Kim. I tried this technique but I didn't have the right glitter and what a mess! I guess I'm not a glitter girl.

ReplyDeleteHow sparkly AND stylish this is. Such a beautiful scene and a perfect Xmas card. Excuse my terrible awareness of things around me but do you have a new photo on your blog?? If not, I've just realised what a gorgeous photo of you it is and you look so lovely with the peachy/pinky colour. I'm looking a bit peachy/pinky myself but its sunburn unfortunately. Been doing a lot of gardening jobs lately and always forget to re-apply my sunblock. Will be looking like a raisin by the end of Summer if I'm not careful.......
ReplyDeleteA lovely card, Kim, that conveys the essence of Christmas with simplicity, beauty and elegance. The nativity scene: that's what Christmas is all about! Love your card!
