Happy Saturday....hope you had a fabulous day. I spent most of my day at a scrapbooking/papercrafting event, it lasts for 10 hours but I left at 7:00, ran out of steam and ideas.
I did complete 10 cards so I was very happy...I can't share them all with you just yet, several are for this month's 12 Kits.
My work space...I did manage to keep it pretty neat.
I have 2 cards to share today. One for Papertrey Ink's April Blog Hop and Uniko's Things with Wings #20 and the other for this week's MIM. Both fun cards to make and I love the MIM, so many possibilities!
I also have another new follower that I would love to welcome....Kim Ross from Card-e-ology, what a fun blog name right? And be sure to take some time to visit and you will see some fabulous cards. Thank you again Kim for being my newest follower, I am truly honored!
I do adore pink and blue with the splash plus the touch of DSP, this would be good for our challenhe at Uniko. I am not an ice cream person (give me a gin anytime)'but I may like a pretty pink one!
ReplyDeleteLOVE what you've done...10 cards is awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day you had, Kim! And a productive one! These cards are so great! I love that vibrant butterfly for the hop and you REALLY rocked MIM with all those amazing cards!! Enjoy your day! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteYeah, really neat - I never manage to do that....fabulous cards! That butterfly card is so full of energy with the paint stroke as background and the ice cream card- great - love that silver spoon!
ReplyDelete10 cards in one day? I am astounded and completely in awe of you. That must be a world record, and I'm sure that they are all beautiful. Love the two you posted today. Your take on the blog hop is so fresh, bold and graphic. And, I totally agree with the sentiment on your second card. In fact, I am carrying around a few extra pounds I'm sure, because I believe that sentiment too much. Fabulous choice of stamp sets for that MIM technique.
ReplyDeleteWow 10 hours! I love this butterfly with the swash of color!
ReplyDeletePretty butterflies and ice-cream, what's not to love!! A 10 hour even is a long one, I think I would run out of steam too!!
ReplyDeletesuper cute cards! of course i'm partial to the ice cream card! thanks so much for playing!!
ReplyDeleteYou TOTALLY rocked the 'white on white'. Seriously awesome pop of pink....'specially so cuz it's ice cream! Love the perfect pairing of the polka dot (yummy) butterfly& the swoosh!
ReplyDelete10 cards in one day! Way to go pal! Normally, I'd be sayin' 'WHAT - 10 CARDS ???"... but I saw how you worked at the Lake House...you whipped up 10 amazing cards in mere minutes, I made 1...and then stamped the sentiment upside down!!!
I love how you designed that ice cream card, so original and I love the effect of just the one bucket being in color. And that spoon! Such a fab element!
ReplyDeleteI love how you made your white on white card with such a unique image - I looked through the gallery and I saw lots of similar ideas but thus one stood out to me - SO COOL!! And not just cuz it is ice cream!!! =] What a beautiful job you did on your interpretation of the photo - so marvelously done and so stunning!! Such a wonderfully beautiful thank you card!!! Hey, the card you made for me got here today and it looks so awesome!! Now to keep my big mouth shut about it and not tell my daughter before her birthday - YOU ROCK again, thank you so much for that!!!!
