The 12 Kits of Christmas - June 2012

It's time for a few more Christmas cards and this month's 12 Kits of Christmas hostess is Amy from Stamp-n-Paradise... This month's kit is another awesome one (but then so far they all have been), I have to say it was so much fun using stamped images and dies that I have not used before. It was really a wonderful treat...it's like taking a stamp set and matching dies out for a test drive and then returning them to the dealership, which in this case is Amy. The stamped images and dies are from Lil' Inker Designs, be sure to check out their website and blog, both are so fabulous and what an incredible group of talented ladies.
When my kit first arrived I opened it up and spread all of the ingredients on my desk, went to work  (teaching summer school and the children drain all of my creativity) and hoped to come home to "self assembled" cards otherwise known as "The Joyce", but I am sad to say that did not happen. I was not about to give up so did it a second day and this time with more luck (Joyce told me that you needed to speak kindly to the supplies, and it worked) all of my cards just seemed to fall into place, very nice and orderly. Be sure to check out all of the other ladies from our little group and see what wonderful things they created and leave some kind words behind (a list and link to each of their blogs are towards the end of my post). So here they are and thanks for taking a
peek!

  1. Kim, I always get a kick out of your post. Beautiful job on all four, cards. Love the printed papers and the beautiful satin bow on the first one. The one that said Jolly made me smile , I thought it was only for JOY… Love that one and the way you used the bell….. I am a big fan of holly and its perfect on your card. Great job Kim with a great kit. And, now its July!….. uggg.

  3. Hi Kim! SO many pretty cards! I love the clean look of the Jolly card, and the bingo card with the gem markers - I mean how cute is that? Your cards are all so festive and fun! I really enjoyed trying out all the new products too!

  4. What a wonderful collection of cards. I'm glad that a bit of kindness worked! You are so funny. Each of your cards is wonderful in it's own way. You are smart to figure out the 'JOLLY' I had to write to Amy and ask her what those straight bits were for! I can't decide which is my favorite--perhaps the Bingo with the bling--wouldn't it be fun to play bingo with real gem stones!

  5. OK, that houndstooth jolly and the one with the bingo card are so cute, can't pick which of them I like the best. This is a great combination of kit ingredients and great design Kim, love all of them. (Congrats on your WM Sketch win today too!) What did I predict?

    That's why I ordered it...

  7. Fantastic group of cards this month, Kim! You did a wonderful job with the beautiful papers in the kit, but I especially love the CAS look of your "jolly" card. The holly leaves are perfect for the corners of the frame. Thanks so much for the inspiration to create more with my kit!

  8. Hi Kim! What a fantastic variety of cards you came up with! I don't know how you all managed to make so many things! I love the bingo card tag one - love how you layered it over the little brown baggie and added the clip! Amazing! I love our little group!

  9. Oh, Kim--these are all so amazing! You did a super job with the kit. Love how you used the bingo card outside the bag. I put mine inside but like yours so much better! Great way to use the satin ribbon too. And using the frame IP for the 'Jolly" works perfectly as does your sweet decorated tree!

  11. Hi Kim!
Wow....lookee at what you did with the goodies?? I love them! I thought these papers and goodies went well together and you sure show that they did! Can you teach me to tie a knot like that one? I can not do that to save myself! :) Genius....to use the rhinestones on the little bingo card! Score! (cuz I have some more of that little paper left to do this!) Just wonderful Kim!
