The 12 Kits of Christmas - September Edition

Here we are at the end of another month...and that means only 3 months until Christmas and that is what we are doing with this monthly challenge, The 12 Kits of Christmas.  Our hostess this month is Kara
from K and R Designs and I am sure many of you have visited her blog before to see what incredible cards and projects that she has created. Her kit is just as amazing and with the soft color of Aqua Mist paired with Pure Poppy, Ivory and Kraft...just an amazing color combination for the holidays.

Unfortunately I was only able to finish up 2 cards from this kit but the bright side of that will be that I have plenty of goodies left over for CAS'ing what everyone else does!
Kara, thank you again for this amazing kit!

  1. I love both of your cards. Just so sweet. I love how you put those rhinestones on the felt in your banner. That is such a great idea, and I wish I had thought of it. Well, I can still do it before I send my card.

  2. Hi Kim! You did a beautiful job with your banner card. I love the bling you added to the flag. I also like the way the angle is looking at the banner. Your first one is so pretty too, I messed up my little snow girl. Beautiful job , hope you are doing well ,and almost healed up .

  8. I love how you trimmed the flag image out of the pattern paper! (great minds think alike!). I just loved that image so much! I'm pretty sure that second card is my favorite! Love that image especially with the word die included in your layout.

  11. Both are so gorgeous, Kim! I love how the CAS design really shows off the paper with the vintage little girl. Your banners on the second card are wonderful--love the mix of the two types of banners. And the angel looks like she is looking at the 'merry' sentiment--so sweet!

  12. Hi Kim! Love how you let the PP shine in your designs - it was too pretty to cut up! Clever how you cut the vintage girl on to the flag on the first, and that angel looks perfectly merry with the banner hanging overhead, and the big letters along side. Beautiful!

  14. You really used the patterned paper beautifully on these cards, Kim! I really wanted to use the felt banner but just couldn't make it work, but yours is just perfect. Love the twine border and clean design on your first card, too. Great ideas for CASEing! :)
