CASology #55 - Camp

Only 1 card today...this is my last week of teaching summer school and it has been pretty busy week so far. I took my class to a baseball game, the Oakland A's vs Toronto Blue Jays and they Blue Jays won 5-2 in extra innings.  It was a fun day but very very loud!  So I am sitting in my nice quiet craftroom trying to be creative.  This week's cue card at CASology is Camp and for those of you who know me know I do not like camping, not at all! There is just too much dirt, bugs and way too much work too! So my idea of ruffing it on a camping trip is a hotel that does not have room service.  So now on to my card...a pretty quick one too.  I bought this stamp set just in case I needed it for last year's PTI Stamp A Faire and it is nice to finally find a fun use for it.  Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my card....have a great rest of your week!

  7. Oh my word, you give new meaning to the word 'adorable,' Kim! That image should be inked more often and just like you've done it! Polka dot camper with polka dot grass?! I would happily go on that polka dot camping trip!!

  10. Kim, what a cute card. so sweet... Thanks for your concern about me and yes I have been on vacation. Last weekend my sister and & went to Lake Chelan in eastern WA with my youngest son and 3 granddaughters and this week I have a cabin at Lake Tapps which is close to my house. The weather has been just so, so. Cloudy in the am and sunny in the pm except today and tomorrow cloudy all day. I agree with you, I don't like bugs or dirt. The cabin is as close to camping I get....Thanks again for your note....

  12. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this card! Ya think I'm impressed with it? Yep!!! Your selection of patterned paper rocks this sweet camping scene. We have a wee camper almost exactly like this - barely room to turn around!

The stitched mats finish off the panels so nicely - just that extra bit of something to add interest to a card!
