3 Cards for Thursday...

Happy Thursday...and no school tomorrow so I am excited about having a long weekend.   I have 3 cards to share tonight, my first card is for this week's CASology #67 and the cue card is "country".  I really struggled with this one and even made 2 cards but the first one will go into my "ugly card" file for when the ugly card challenge rolls around again.  I am not a country girl at all, in fact I don't really like to be outside, too much dirt if you ask me.  Then it finally popped into my head, use On the Farm from PTI and here it is.

Next card is for ColourQ #211 and once again it was my second attempt at a card, not because I was unhappy with my first one but because I lost the fabulous pair of paper pieced witch feet complete with orange and black striped stockings.  I know they are here somewhere and will most likely turn up around Valentine's Day or they may even be in one of the Halloween cards I sent out...so if you happen to see them, have fun with them and please share what you make. I am also entering this in this week's SSS challenge for Halloween cards.

My final card is for the current challenge over at Serendipity Stamps...there are some beautiful stamps on this site.  I only have a few of them but they are truly fabulous!  I was so excited that I won there last challenge for paper piecing, I was blown away.  Thank you Mary for this incredible honor!  You can see my card here.  This challenge is for "words and verse" and like I said I don't have too many but this one is at the top of my list of all my stamps, it is just too cute!  Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my cards...have a fabulous weekend!

  2. Oh, what a busy crafty day you had. Your farm country card is just perfect. I love how you paired it with the gingham ribbon. I am with you--the outdoors is too dirty for my taste as well. Sorry about your witches feet, but this card is so great, and you never would have made it if you hadn't lost those feet! You even made the spider seem cute. And, your last card--sweet as a candy cane or a plate of peppermint cookies.

If you saw the disaster that is my craft room tonight you would understand why I often have the same thing happen! But I have my tags ready for tomorrow's PTI hop so it is a good thing :). And I LOVE the last card! What a great sentiment! And I love the paper you chose to go with it! Congrats on winning the paper piecing challenge too! :)
