Serendipity #26 - Chalk and CASology #76 - Party

Happy Friday! Having this time off from school, I keep losing track of what day it is, maybe it is a getting old thing.  I have 2 cards to share today, the first one is for the current challenge over at CASology, it has been forever since I have had the time to play along and with this week's cue card "Party" it was not hard to come up with an idea.

My second card is also for the current challenge at Serendipity and their theme is "Chalk".  I know this technique has been around for some time but I never gave it a try. Happy to say that I love the look and will be making more cards like this one. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my cards...Happy New Year!

  4. These are both really fabulous. Brilliant idea to cut those champagne flutes out of silver and to have a count down below. So festive and a perfect way to say happy new year. And, your chalkboard Santa is just perfect. Using the oval makes it look even more retro and old fashioned, and the bling and snowflakes are perfectly placed. So glad you are enjoying your time off.
