Four cards for Thursday.....

Happy New Year again...wishing all of you nothing but the best for the new year.  No big plans today so I spent them morning in my craft room and came up with 4 cards.  The first two are for this week's MIM #146 over at PTI, I love the look of all the diagonal patterned paper, so much fun and so quick!  My first cars is for Halloween and the second one for Easter...This is a great way to use up those scraps of patterned paper you have sitting around.

My next 2 cards are for SSS - Something New and a new challenge, Colour Me. In fact my first card was to be for Colour Me but I got the color wrong so since I used some new craft supplies I am entering this is SSS current challenge.  Funny this is not the first time I have used the wrong color but I loved the look of Hawaiian Shores I had to finish.  I love stamping my own background paper, I used a set from Hero Arts that I have had for a while but never used, so I guess both cards have new supplies! So fun and thank you Joyce for the wonderful stamps.

  1. My goodness. 4 cards--you are a star. I have yet to get started today. I love the first two--especially the one with that cute bunny. Perfect way to use those beautiful papers. You are making me want to make some more MIM cards. And, how perfect that you are using Button Boutique today. I was just thinking about that set. I love both of your cards--they are both just gorgeous--really love the buttons on the first card, and I spy those sewing stamps I got you oh, so long ago! They are really fun, and perfect with that gingham paper.

  8. A-DOR-A-BLE! How fun are your first two cards (you're preparing well in advance..very clever!), with their cheery diagonal papers and Easter/Halloween themed images! The second two are just as delightful; they kindle memories of shopping with my mom, looking for the 'right buttons' to go with whatever she was crafting at the time. LOVE these!! Perfect cards for the challenges you've entered; perfect for brightening this snowy, wintry day!!

  12. Wow! Do you know how much you inspire me every time I visit? Tons x tons x tons!!! Your ability to create 3 or 4 cards in one morning in something I can only dream of! I sit at my desk...and sit....and sit...and nothing! But then, when I pop by your blog I want to run straight to my desk and get busy!

Fabulous colors and amazing job combining the different patterned papers! You sure do have a knack for mixing & matching! Love the diagonal design. Fabulous 'sewing' cards - another great idea for me to use up my stash of nine million buttons from my 'sewing days'!
