Well, it is that time again for our Four of a Kind post. We changed our schedule to once a quarter and this time around Joyce from Cards-by-the-Sea is our sweet hostess and what a kit she sent! I have to say that it is always fun to get a kit using stamps and dies I don't have but once I opened this kit I had to order Two Feet Deep, so many amazing images and it is not just a Christmas set either. The patterned paper is just as fabulous and the colors are so different and are the perfect match to the stamps, like they were made for each other! As always, there are enough supplies to make at least another dozen cards too, so I will be cas'ing the other 3 ladies. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my cards...be sure to head over to see what the rest of the Fab Four have created!
Joyce's Kit
What a great collection of cards!!
ReplyDeleteI think the envelope one could be my favorite but then I also really like the angled strips of paper too!
You had a lot of fun with this fabulous kit...
and wasn't it gorgeous with the colors and papers?
Love them all! :)
wow love them all!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Kim. I can see why you would need to order this stamp set.
ReplyDeleteOh Kim--you really outdid yourself this time. So many beautiful cards, and things I want to case from you. Where to start--I love how you did that diagonal with the patterned paper, I think my favorite is the pull out tag with the little bag--I fell in love with those bags, but could not figure out what to do with them--evil me decided to send them in the kit and see what you all did with it. I am laughing at your last card--it is like the exact reverse of one that I did--but I love yours more. Great placement of that cute wooden doo dad and bling.
ReplyDeleteGreat kit & fun cards KIm!
ReplyDeleteAwesome set of cards here, Kim! What a fun idea! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny that you went ahead and ordered this set. I do love it too, and think it's a great one to have. Love what you have done with the Kit. Love that one with the polka dot bag and snowshoes. All of your cards are beautiful Kim!
ReplyDeleteWonderful Kit and BEAUTIFUL cards Kim! I love a pocket card because I think they are so tricky, but I think my fave is the embossed with the sled.... so hard to choose - they are all beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat an incredible kit, and what wonders you have created with it! If someone *forced* me to choose a favorite from among these beauties, I'd have to go with the sled card. It conjures up so many fun childhood memories. But, seriously, they are are beautiful. You are so darn talented!!! Bev
ReplyDeletecool cards..love all of your angles!
ReplyDeleteAwesome cards. Love the one with the sled and the polka dot envelope.
ReplyDeleteI just see that Jeanne called that last card a pocket card...glad I know the official name because I love it! Joyce made one similar to that too...love yours with that wooden flower embellishment. I also love the card with the sled (my favorite image) and the loopy border. So pretty on the white embossed card stock. Great bunch of cards this month!
ReplyDeleteKim I love all of your creations using Joyce's fabulous kit. Wowie, she must have sent so much to play with. I can't pick a favourite because I just love them all. What great colours and great designs.
ReplyDeleteWow! All lovely cards. My favorite is the last one... Beautiful CAS card. -Irma
ReplyDeleteJoyce did a great job on this kit and you did it justice and then some, Kim!! Those are great colors and images and I love how you designed your makes with them!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteWow, you did a wonderful job with Joyce's amazing kit! It would be hard to pick a favorite but I love that fabulous sled and that card is so pretty. And the envelope card is quite striking too.
ReplyDeleteOh My! Another fabulous kit and another FABULOUS display of your talent and creativity! These colors are so totally country Christmas - love them! Your cards have all captured that down home country feel! Love the 'pocket' card (had no idea that it is called that until I read Jeanne's comment) and I LOVE the diagnoal designs. Beautiful creations - you are an inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a delicious selection of cards, Kim ... they're all so fabulous ... I particularly love the last one ... the colours are stunning and the sweet pearl-adorned wooden flower is perfect! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards!! Can't pick a FAV... Love the sled-snowshoes-skis!! I am like you, except I just saw some cards/tags with this set, and had to have it!! Can't remember who it was...but, fell in love with the Two Feet Deep!! Haven't had a chance to play with it so, maybe I need to find a year round Xmas/winter challenge!!
ReplyDeleteWow--what a great kit! Love these cards, Kim--your style is so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSo how does this work? You take turns designing card kits for the others, stamping and cutting out the images? Great idea, and what a pick-me-up for this time of year. LOVE all the winter sports items (up here in Ontario we are MORE than 2-feet-deep, and you gotta embrace it!), esp the snow-shoes and skis. Wonderful designs on your cards. I like all the funky angles--is that a Lil' Inker diagonal die I spy?
ReplyDeleteKim, I'm a slowpoke in commenting, but here I am, chiming in to cheer and applaud the gallery of gorgeous you've shared. Each card is so lovely; you've worked magic with the kit! Two Feet Deep - now that looks like a set I'll need to add to my collection, especially considering where I live: a town where skiing, snow-shoeing, sledding are ever so popular. Heading back for some closer looks...sooooo much pretty all in one place!
