The Card Concept #1 and breakfast with friends....

Happy Thursday...only one more day until the weekend, can't wait! I have one card to share with you today and it is for a brand new challenge, The Card Concept. If you have not to their blog be sure to take some time to check it out and you still have time to play too.  They have so many fabulous card styles that you can use to make your card for but I will be honest, I have no clue what my style is.  I just pray that everything is straight and even!  The colors for their first challenge are stunning and look so well together.  I decided to pull out some older stamps, in fact the 100 Hearts is from Verve and my first clear stamp set purchase and still one of my favorites.  I love this quote from Winnie the Pooh.

Before you go...I was lucky enough to meet up with Darnell and Harriet again and this time we met for breakfast at this wonderful little place called Val's.  The food is so yummy and they have been around forever! We got our sweet waitress to snap a photo of us so we would be able to share.  Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my card...have a fabulous Friday!

Harriet, Darnell and me

  1. This is just sweet as can be. I love the sentiment--isn't Winnie the Pooh just as wise as can be. Love the background of hearts, and the bling and hearts on your focal points are all perfectly placed. And, what a fun photo--meeting up with crafty friends is the best, right?

Your card is gorgeous! I honestly don't think that I have seen this Verve set before! I love the design patterns on the hearts. Perfect combination of a bit of subtle bling, Winnie the Pooh's famous words and an awesome design!

As for your card style...I'm thinking that this card is a good fit in the Clean & Layered category.
