Crafting with friends.....

Just a quick post for today...this past week I headed down to San Diego for some crafting time with Joyce from Cards-by-the-Sea and Marybeth from Marybeth's Time for Paper. I flew down on Tuesday and Joyce and I played with all her supplies, this is like being a kid a candy store and you get to taste test everything! I know why Joyce is so organized, she has so many wonderful supplies, it is the only way to remember what you have. I told her she should hire herself out and asked her to do my craft room first, she really has a wonderful gift! On Wednesday Marybeth joined us for a day filled with some card making and lots of laughter, some of the stories still have me laughing. Thank you Joyce and Marybeth for an amazing time, crafting with friends is so much fun! I have lots of photos to share and several cards too. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by...enjoy your weekend!

Playing with Joyce's new Poppy dies.

This was Joyce's idea, to make a card that looked like the blouse I had on. I would have never thought of it as inspiration but I love the look of it!

My first water coloring attempt...I think I am hooked! Thanks Marybeth.

This card is for the current challenge at Muse. I took my inspiration from the swirls and colors and thought the Scribbles and Circles stamps would be perfect for my card.

  5. 6 fab card, I'm not sure I could finish one even if chatting with friends at the same time! Or perhaps I would because they share their opinion on designs, colors, and where top put that pearl you've been moving around for the past hour... They're all great. If I'd have to pick a favorite I'd say I'm really curious about that blouse of yours:)
