Papertrey Ink 8th Anniversay - Day 7 & 8

Yipppeeee, today is Friday and the start of a 3 day weekend. I had a fabulous day today...it was my preschool class Valentine's Day party and oh my what a wonderful party we had, so much yummy food and sweets too. I made some marshmallow pops, they were the first to go! They were so much fun to make, quick and easy too.

I have 2 cards to share today and both are for the 8th Anniversary challenge over at Papertrey Ink. My first card is for Day 7 and the theme is Heavy Metal. I used my gold Delicata ink pad to give my Circle Scribbles stamps a wee bit of sparkle.

Final card for Day 8, the theme blue ombre. Blue is not a color I use much, it is at the bottom of the list of colors I like to stamp but I have to say I really love the look of these colors and will be using them really soon. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your weekend!

  6. Those marshmallow pops look delicious and bet the kids had a wonderful time celebrating. I think you should use blue more often, this card is so pretty and a lovely ombre design. Brilliant idea to have gold scribbles, very modern indeed!

  7. Sweet! I want to be in your class too...Marshmallow pops?!, oh yeah!!! And speaking of sweet; both of these cards are simply lovely!! I remember the Circle Scribbles from the Lake House....I still have the gold die cuts of them, and almost used them for this challenge! Love the wonderful card you've made with it. And as far as the second one goes, in my world, anything with polkie dots is pure perfection! Love the ombre way you've stamped those rows, especially starting with the dark color at the top. Great idea. And love these cards!! Happy Valentine's Day my dear friend. Bisous, bisous. Bev

  8. Two very pretty CAS cards. The Delicata is my fav gold ink pad (and the silver one is nice too). Love the way you've done those scribbles (Tangles?) - very artsy. And loving the shades of the blue circles. Happy V. day and your marshmallow pops do look sweet & yummy. Obviously the kids thought so too! TFS & Hugs

  9. The pops look delicious Kim ,I can see why they went first. I am not a huge fan of blue either unless it's for a boy card. Love your gold scribbles ,I bought that die because of you. The polka dot card is darling!
    Happy St. Valentine's Day!

Love that stamp you've used on your first card, I've seen you use it before and have admired it since. The pattern looks so elegant in gold.
