Hello and happy Friday! So happy it is the end of the week, yesterday was a very long day. I am always the teacher that is pulled to sub when another teacher is out sick and yesterday our PE teacher's wife went into labor and I was asked to step in and take his classes. Are you KIDDING me???? I am not an outdoor person at all...I am more of a dolly domestic and would have rather been asked to iron clothes than teach PE, but I managed to pull it off and have to say that other than not having the proper shoes I had a blast (but don't tell my principal or my feet)!
jump rope before religion class...did my best to wear them out!
I have been so excited about this hop...I love both coffee and tea, tea being at the top of my list, but I made a coffee card for the hop. I love these sweet stacking cups from Poppy Stamps, so pretty. I hope you get to play along, here is the link to the Coffee Loving blog to add your card.
I am also entering my card in the challenge over at Poppy Stamps, the theme is love and whats not to love when it comes to coffee!
I want to welcome Chriss Balgrave from Botanical Cafe as my newest follower...she is an amazing card marker, her blog is like walking through a beautiful garden.

That die is on my wish list! I adore the green and polkas! Such a sweet springy card!
ReplyDeleteChuckling that you'd rather iron that teach PE...I'm with you! When I went back to college, they were requiring me to take a PE class to grant my AA Degree so that I could transfer to the University of Washington. At the time, I was 38 {which actually is quite young but...} and I hated PE when I was younger...probably not a surprise that I was always the last one picked for teams. Long story short, I ditched the AA degree and just gathered my prereq's to get into the UW and graduated the year that I turned 40 :)
That story is just. Too funny! Sweet little card! Happy hopping and have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had those students happily active! I can't remember the last time I jumped rope! Love, love and love your coffee card: the cups, the tag, the colours...every single detail! Rich and vibrant!
ReplyDeleteHugs~c

ReplyDeleteI'm finally here! P.E., huh?.... I'm right with you about being a domestic dolly. Except for the ironing part. I'd rather scrub something than be sporty (except for BASEBALL!!!!). Bet the kids really enjoyed having you. Your card is amazing. Saw those dies over at PS, and thought "meh...". Now, I think "WOW!" Love what you've done with them, and LOVE these colors together!
