Happy 4th of July to all my friends in the States...we are spending a quiet day at home getting various chores done, catching up on recorded TV shows (personally I am watching Hallmark Christmas movies for card inspiration) and a bit of crafting too. Yesterday we went to see the Oakland A's play, unfortunately they lost but the fireworks after the game were amazing! Here are a few photos I took...
So here's wishing everyone a fabulous holiday...
After watching a few movies I decided I would play along with the Christmas version of Muse. Kimberly's inspiration card is so amazing, here is my take on her card. I pulled out some NBUS to play with and thought this set from Neat & Tangled was perfect.
Kimberly's Inspiration Card...amazing right!
I have more new followers that I would love to introduce you to.....first up is Hazel from My Card Attic, Kelli from KS Craft Shack, Sue from Sue's Paper Craft and Alicia from Golden Goddess Designs. Thank you all for following my blog...I am so honored!

ReplyDeleteWonderful little scene and perfect CAS design! Love the black & white with red!
ReplyDeleteLove your darling red and black Christmas card. Sounds like a wonderful way to spend the 4th. I was getting eaten alive by bugs . I was also enjoying one of the most beautiful waters spots in Yosemite. You have me in the mood to make Christmas cards.
ReplyDeleteBefore I forget, I keep meaning to ask you, how do you know if you have any new followers?? Mine has showed that I have 7 followers for about 12 months and even that isn't correct as it doesn't even show my Mum is following by email. Am I looking in the wrong place??
ReplyDeleteSo love your card. This was my favourite set from Xmas last year (always love houses) and I must make sure I get my hands on it for my cards this Xmas. The line of houses above the block of red is very crisp and modern. Your second card is so pretty, those ornament stamps are gorgeous. A few more cards for your Xmas stash. Must make some more myself but the weeks keep passing me by.....
I love the simple color scheme of your Christmas card - lovely and such a sweet neighborhood scene!! So sweet and I just can't believe how quickly you are getting new followers these days!! And, it was great to learn that we have another thing in common - I LOVE Hallmark Christmas movies and watch them year-round!! Thanks for sharing a bit of fun with us in those terrific fireworks pictures!! Happy day to you!!
