ColourQ #180

This week's color selection at ColourQ is so perfect for St. Patrick's Day, one of my families favorite holidays. I love the color green, and this card really showcases two beautiful shades. I made my card for one of my girlfriends, I am so blessed to not only have her for a friend, but as a coworker too. To make a long story short, I am our schools auction chairperson and we have been battling with our principal over caterers and it turned into one big mess! She was there to support me during our emergency meeting last night and I will be forever grateful to her for all she has done.  So here is my card...thank you all so much for taking the time to stop by to peek at my card, have a wonderful day!

Papertrey Ink Make it Monday #99 Repeats and Rainbows

This weeks Make it Monday from PTI was so much fun and really makes for a fabulous card. Repeats and Rainbows, such a simple technique with incredible results.  I choose to use rainbow combination #3, I liked the bright colors but I do plan to try some of the other combinations later in the week. Be sure to to head over the the Nichole's blog and check out all of the wonderful creations. I have been wanting to make a card using this set for some time, actually since the "Call me maybe" song came out some time back.  It is such a catchy song and when PTI came out with the Heart-2-Heart #4 stamp set I knew I would make it at some point and that was today.  Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a peek at my card.
