Time Out Reminder #158

Hello...popping in with my card for the reminder post over at Time Out #158 and the theme of this challenge is Purple - Lots or Little! Purple is the ribbon color that represents Epilepsy and our incredibly talent and sweet leader Sandie suffers from this disease so this challenge means so much to all of us.

This challenge is special because March 26th is 'Epilepsy Awareness Day' and we want to spread the word and help people understand this condition more. Why purple? Because a Purple Ribbon is the symbol for Epilepsy. To find out more pop on over to Time Out

We just want to see a little or a lot of purple!

We have an optional twist of friendship-wouldn't it be nice to send a card to a friend 'just because'!

Our incredible sponsor is CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and the winner of this challenge will receive a $25 gift voucher!

For my card I used these fabulous flower dies from Ink to Paper - Joyful Jars and I added some bright yellow dots to add a bit more color.

In Loving Memory of a Dear Friend

We will not be posting our monthly 12 Kits post today for March....

It is with a heavy heart that we are saying goodbye to a dear sweet friend, Sharron Gregory from

Sharron passed away yesterday morning,  March 30 for complications from heart surgery while she was at home recovering.  Sharron was one of the original of The 12 Kits of Occasions and will be missed so much!

Please keep her husband Harry and her family in your thoughts and prayer during this difficult time.

Love you Sharron...

We will do a tribute to Sharron at a later date.

Stay Crafty with Hero Arts Challenge

Hello...popping in today with one card for the challenge over at Hero Arts - Stay Crafty. I spent the morning making more cards to pop in the mail to family and friends and thought the sentiment from this sweet seahorse set from Hero Arts would be perfect. The challenge at Hero Arts is to make a card using stamps or supplies that have never been used. I bought this set several years ago and it has never seen ink before, I was worried about lining up each layer but it was pretty quick and easy and one I will use over and over again.
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your day!

Time Out Reminder #157 - It's Our Birthday!

Hello...popping in today with my reminder card for challenge #157 at Time Out - It's Our Birthday! We are turning 6 this challenge and we have the fabulous Stamplorations as our sponsor. This challenge has a twist, die cutting or fussy cutting.

I used Stamplorations Party Mates. I used distress oxide inks to create a panel for all the festive Party Mates images and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink - ways to say birthday. Its pretty clean and simple but love the bold colors from the distress inks.

I hope you will celebrate our birthday with us, can't wait to see what yo create for our party!

Our guest for this challenge is Christine, be sure to check out all the amazing inspiration on her blog, she is so talented!

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by....wishing you a wonderful day!
