4 of a Kind...Take Two

Edit...Terri is the winner of the PTI blog candy! Thanks so much for the sweet comments.
Please send me your email address so I can send you your prize.

Welcome back to the second round of 4 of a Kind! This is my month to host and I have been so excited to do this post.  I thought for a long while about what I would be doing, went through all of my stamps, dies, paper, and embellishments and still was at a loss, and then it hit me...a sewing theme.  I have been sewing since 7th grade (so for about 40+ years), so why not a card using elements of sewing.  Buttons, button cards, thread, dress forms and patterned paper just to start with.  I spent an entire day cutting and stamping and figuring out how to mail everything out so that nothing was lost or bent.  Before I started cutting and packaging I wanted to get a picture of all the ingredients.

Here is picture of the little goodie bags I sent the rest of the ladies...too cute!

This is a picture of my finished card...I did a little bit of sewing on my card to go along with the theme.  I used 7 of my ingredients on the card and added some seam binding too.  I really had a blast making this card and hope that you will enjoy hopping over to each of the other blogs and leaving kind words.

Card Ingredients...All PTI

  3. Wow! What an amazing card. I really love what you have done with all your goodies. I have to say, that this month's kit was so fantastic--the ingredients and the packaging. I can't believe I have to follow you....I love the circle behind the dress form--really makes it pop. And, the embossed layer--love that--and, you used buttons in two places!!

  4. Kim, your attention to detail is exquisite. You have included all the sewing goodies in your "vintage" card. THe button doesn't overtake the dress form because you found a fabby way to showcase it. Great take!

  5. Kim, what a gorgeous presentation you did for your card kit. If I received it I don't know that I would have wanted to take it apart, instead put it in a place of honor in my craft room!
