Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Here is another card for CAS-ual Fridays weekly challenge.  This weeks the theme is What's Black and White and Read all over?  Part of the challenge is that the card needs to a representaion of a book as well, but other than a song title, Oh Christmas Tree, can't find a book, so I am hoping that this will work too (I'm sure the song is in a book). As soon as I saw the theme I knew exactly what I wanted to make.  I have had this Christmas Tree stamp for about a year and just love it! I stamp it in black and then add some colored bling, ribbon, or paper flowers.  Since CAS-ual Fridays always wants clean and simple cards, that's what I did, sweet, simple and fast to make.
I'm also doing this weeks Play Date Cafe Challenge, it incorpoates the same color scheme, one of my favorites, Black, White and Red, reminds me of Twilight and Disney!
Thanks for taking a peek!

  1. It may technically be CAS, but it sure has a WOW factor. That tree looks so striking stamped in black with the red sparklies and the perfect sentiment. I can not wait for Christmas and cooler weather. I am so done with summer and look forward to making lots of holiday cards!
