This month's hostess was Marybeth and what a beautiful and elegant kit! The printed paper was just so nice, my favorite being the sheet music. I fell in love with the stamped images of the two sweet little girl angels walking hand in hand, I could not resist putting them behind a memory box black window. The colors of the kit wen perfectly with PTI's Scarlet Jewel too, a color that I have to admit I have not used before. I was thrilled when I was looking and found that I purchased the ink to match too, Marybeth must have known all of this when she assembled the kits. I made three cards with the kit and still have plenty of supplies left over to make more once I see what other fabulous creations the rest of our group came up with. Thanks for taking a peek!

What fabulous cards. I love them all. I couldn't figure out what to do with the musical paper and that die cut--now I am so glad that I still have them, because I can just CASE you.
ReplyDeleteWow Kim, you came up with three gorgeous cards. The three wise men are perfect on the first one, love that layout. The second one is very pretty also with the black tree and the snow drifts. The window scene is just adorable , I did not color my girls either. Love the leftover bells you added to this one.
ReplyDeleteoh these are just to perfect
ReplyDeleteFabulous!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that first one...
that tag is perfect for that sentiment...
and looks so gorgeous in those colors!
And the tree with the music and border...
love!
And I held onto my little angels...
I KNEW I was going to see some ideas with it that I wanted to do...
sometimes I'm so smart! :)
They're all just fabulous Kim...
love them! :)
These are so great! I love visiting your blog on the days y'all share these type of cards :)
ReplyDeleteKim I am in love with the Christmas tree in the snow drift - so pretty - a magical scene indeed with that swirly border on the top! Your window with the angels is beautiful - love the jingle bells with the ribbon!
ReplyDeleteKim your cards are fabulous, I love the first one. The colours are fantastic! Fun fun blog hop every month.
ReplyDeleteKim,
ReplyDeleteYou have a great trio of cards. I think it was a wise choice not to color the angels behind the window. It looks great. Love the colors of the first card.
These are all fantastic, Kim! I love the way you used the Half & Half die on top of the sheet music on the first one, and those angels look adorable inside the window. But my favorite is definitely the tree silhouette tucked into the snow banks. The border die looks amazing at the top, and the dark music score background is perfect!
ReplyDeleteThese are all so fabulous, Kim! Don't you just love the Half & Half dies. I use mine all the time. So often, they are perfect for a sentiment or other accent. The framed sentiment at the bottom looks great too! The tree in the snow card is just stunning! I love the dark musical background and the border at the top. And your angel card is adorable! The window works so well for them and I love the little rusty bells with the sweet ribbon trim!
ReplyDeleteLove your beautiful cards! Love how you used the die cut on your 'walking in a winter wonderland card' i would have used it at the bottom of the card, but I LOVE it at the top!!
ReplyDeleteAll 3 cards are beautiful! I love in the first those 3 wise men in the half and half die, with the red. Then the second, how clever that you used the snow on the TOP of the card, falling from the sky! (why didn't I think of that??) and the 3rd...you can't go wrong with that window :)
ReplyDeleteWow Kim! Fabulous trio of cards! Great use of the half and half die to show off that image on card #1. I think that the last card is my favorite as I didn't even think of using those sweet angels behind the window die. Yep going to case that idea! I love being able to take things away from each of our cards and have fun recreating them!!!
ReplyDeleteKim! I am dying! These ROCK! I love the little kids in the window, and the snowfall falling from the sky, and oh my the half and half strip with that focal image...perfect!!! I am in awe!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful cards Kim! I absolutely love the red and black palette! So striking!
