retrosketches #10

Happy Sunday....my daughter says I am living in the wrong decade...I love frilly aprons, love to iron and do dishes (a real dolly domestic) and I Love Lucy and just about any black and white sitcom of the 50's and early 60's are still my favorite shows to watch on TV, so needless to say I am in love with all of the retrosketch challenges, just too cute. They remind me a bit of I Love Lucy and The Dick Van Dyke show rolled into one, not sure why but hey do.

So here is my card for this week's challenge. I tried to select colors and paper that also reminded me of that time period and I know butterflies right now seem to be so popular on cards, so here you are. Thanks for taking a peek!

  1. Dolly Domestic--so funny. You can come and do my dishes any time you'd like! Love this card, and the sketch it is based on. Those butterflies look great as negative die cuts--you picked up the colors of the patterned paper perfectly.

  6. Very pretty card! Great take on the sketch!
If you want, you can come and do my dishes at my house.... I don't have a dishwasher, so I do all of them by hand! And ironing.... I can't even remember the last time I ironed... LOL!
