So far today has been my favorite lesson...I fell in love with the first video of the day from Jennifer McGuire, it was easy to do and turns out just beautiful. Day 3 of class and I was on time again, in fact class was late today by 11 minutes, so no demerits for me. I did not have everything for this card so I just made due with what I had on hand. I have a few stamps that you can use to make backgrounds but I have to be honest I rarely ever use them, that is until now. The possibilities are just endless! Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a peek of my card....it was so much fun to make!

ReplyDeleteQuite lovely! Trendy yet timeless--love those kinds of cards! Those colors are wonderful; perfect summertime feelings for my snowy winter day. Two thumbs way up. I stink at backgrounds...yours makes me want to try again. Bev
ReplyDeleteI think you did a really good job showing what was taught in class. Nice card!
ReplyDeleteI love chevrons and love your color choices!!
ReplyDeleteLove the background you created Kim...the pretty colors and the great bow are so pretty. Love those colors. I think I owe you the price of the class, I am learning a lot from what you are making!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I love your color choices, and the stamp you picked. That is a really good one to highlight this technique. That sentiment looks great embossed in white.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect CASE of Jennifer's card, Kim! I did that one, too, but I like your chevron so much better for this technique!!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done Kim! I loved today's class too but am just finishing up day 1 homework!! I have watched all of the videos from the three days though. Can't wait to get to this technique - I have some PTI borders picked out for it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card...you did a fabulous job with the chevrons, I like the soft colors you selected! I am struggling a bit with this technique, have yet to make a gradient card! Maybe this weekend I will have time to play around a bit more with it!
ReplyDeleteExcellent card Kim, love the gradient chevrons.
ReplyDeleteSo did you hand out demerits! Great card! Glad you are having fun and learning.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely gorgeous! Love the gradient color - you did such a great job! I really struggled with this one, but you seem to have got it down!
