Happy New Year again...this is our first posting of our 12 Kits of Holidays for 2013. There are a few changes for this year and one of them is that about every other month our kits will be other holidays, like this month we are making cards for Valentine's Day. Next month we will be back to Christmas cards. One of the other changes for this year is that we have 2 new ladies joining our little group but that also means saying goodbye to 2 others, Cathy and Suzanne...you will be missed. So please help me in welcoming Kelly and Tracey to 12 Kits by leaving them comments. Like I mentioned before, we are doling Valentine's Day cards this month and our fabulous hostess is Joyce from Cards-by-the-Sea (thanks for sending me the kit with the self assembling cards). Joyce sent out an incredible kit filled with so many wonderful goodies. I was able to make 8 cards from her kit and still have plenty of left overs to CASE a few of the cards that the other ladies have made.

love them all!
ReplyDeleteWow--you totally went to town. I love everything you did! I'm glad to see the wedding, anniversary, and birthday cards in there. I was hoping that some of the stuff I sent would be suitable for occasions other than Valentines. I can't even pick a favorite--they are all so creative and beautiful. Love how you put the different colors behind that piestra tile die cut, and love how you used the couple of images that had me stumped (even though I provided them!)
ReplyDeleteYou did so many different things that I never even thought about - the different colors behind the piestra die, the little hearts in the tree, - you're making me kick myself for not seeing the full potential of some of these items - you made this one your own and it is amazing!
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous cards!! Love the layered papers and embellishments!! Those popped up hearts on the tree are so cute!! love the different colors peeking out from that awesome die cut on your CAS card!!
ReplyDeleteLook at these! Such great cards and you made so many...I love the Happy Anniversary card so much...love the colors behind the piestra tiles. I also love the birthday wishes card with the heart border and the twine. You are perfect for this group Kelly...your cards are always inspiring.

Oh my gosh Kim, these are all so beautiful and your designs are fantastic. You know how to use patterned paper perfectly. Your matting, the beautiful bows, the way you used the piestra die and the twine.
ReplyDeleteSorry I am late! Hey we had the same idea with the mr. and mrs. All 8 of your cards are wonderful Kim. Love the way you used the papers with hexagons in the last one. The anniversary one with the different colors behind is beautiful! I can tell you had fun making these it show in your work.

ReplyDeleteWow Kim what a gorgeous job! I have 3 that are my favorites...I just love how you added the hearts to the big tree, I love the different colors peeking through the die cuts in the one above it, and the polaroid one is just too cute :) What a great job this month!
ReplyDeleteWow, you should teach an online course in making cards from these kits, Kim. Every.single.one.is.inspirational!
ReplyDeleteLove every one!! These colors are fabulous and agree with Darnell...you know how to work a kit!!
ReplyDeleteThe hexagon card makes my heart go pitty pat, Kim! And OH how pretty that card is all tied up with the pink BOW! They are all so cheerful with the patterns you combined. So happy to be joining this crew!
ReplyDeleteThere is so much to CASE here! Where to start...I absolutely love the colored strips behind the border die cut with the simple sentiment. The little hearts in the tree! I tried something similar but couldn't make it work, but now I know what to do. :) Such beautiful use of the patterned papers, too!
