A Silhouette Cameo named Lucy

A few weeks back I sold off all of my Cricut cartridges and machine and bought a Silhouette. It has been sitting on my craft desk for a couple weeks looking so pretty. I signed up for a beginner class too that I still need to take, there is so much to learn. So finally I decided to bit the bullet and start playing with her. Wow, what a fun new toy, so many things you can make and I love the fact that it is hooked up to my computer and I don't need to buy cartridges.
It came with a gift card that I loaded on my computer and my oh my, there are so many different images you can buy and every Tuesday they have a free image you can save to your library.  While browsing through all the designs I saw this one and had to buy it. I is perfect for my friend Joyce, my guess is she would only eat things covered in chocolate if she could. So this card is for you Joyce, hope you like it.
Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card....have a wonderful day!

This is so amazing. Love the sentiment--totally agree with it, and your word art with all cut out letters is just incredible. Now I know what you and Lucy were up to, and I am all grins. This is just darling, and I'm so excited that your first card with Lucy is so gorgeous and perfect for me.

  2. We had chocolate covered strawberries for dessert tonight - I'm with Joyce! I also enjoyed reading your backstory - I have a Cricut and a TON of cartridges and from time to time, wonder if I should do what you did. The cuts look so fun and everyone's making amazing cards like this one!

  15. Oh no...
now I realize just HOW far behind I am because I never saw this beauty!!
    I die over that sentiment...
and I'm with Joyce on this one...
    if it's got chocolate...
    I'm there! :)
    Unless there's raisin's...
and they're disguised to look like chocolate too...
    then I'm gone! :)

  16. Kim, congrats on the Cameo!!! I loved reading about it here because I've been on the "no" side of the fence for a very long time. And then I see fun projects like this and wish I had one. I love it and I hope it makes Joyce smile!
