Papertrey Ink Blog Hop - May 2013

Blog-hop-logo

This month's blog hop theme is flowers and PTI gave us 7 beautiful "Bouquet Builder" color combination s to work with. Until just a few months ago I did not own any flower stamps, or very very few of them. With a bit of intervention from friends I finally saw the light. Now I own several sets and have even more on my wish list. I made 3 cards from this month's and really had so much fun.

3-Shades-of-Orange-Bouquet
My first card is a CASe of Lisa's card,  you can see here. I know there must me a secret to getting it come out perfect but I had no clue so I did what worked, made 3 before I got it right.

My second card is a CASe of one the Tracey made and you can see her card here. I love the clean lines of it and DayDreamer is at the top of my favorite flowers.

Thank you so much taking time to stop by to peek at my cards...have a wonderful holiday weekend!

  5. These are all amazing. You have proven yourself to be a true flower lover. I love your case of Lisa's, especially those teeny tiny tulips. Your case of Tracey's is so beautiful--I've already got that one pinned for casing. I am pinning your third to make for myself--I adore it, especially with those colors. And, I have that set and have never inked it up.

  6. I'm glad you had a flower "intervention" Kim because these are beautiful - I was going to say the the second is my favorite, but as much as I love it, the color scheme of the third makes me have to pick it as a fav!

  13. You are rockin and rollin, Kim!! These are brilliant! I love the little picket fence with the over-stamping - a technique I have still not tried. And your second card, bam, totally KNEW it was Tracey's inspiration! Your third is a knockout, period!

  14. You are rocking out that stamping on die cuts technique, must try it with the fence. Beautiful cards and you are doing such great things with flowers, how did you manage without them for so long. ;)

  15. Think I need to look at the Daydreamers stamp set again because I love what I'm seeing here. You did a terrific job on the picket fence. I have that die and rarely use it. Wouldn't have thought it'd look so good with just one section…but I was wrong. Great job, Kim!
