The Great Cover-Up

 

Hello...popping in today to share my card for this week's The Great Cover-Up challenge over at Ink to Paper. 

Such a wonderful technique. I didn't have a large background stamp so I pulled out Stylish Sentiments:Birthday and did a subway type sign with them. Stamped them with VersaMark and embossed in white on vellum from PTI. I used the beautiful flowers from Gran's Garden, just love these gorgeous flowers!

It is hard to see but my little bits of confetti are heat embossed in silver, I tried to get a photo of them but just did not seem to get one.

CAS(E) this Sketch and Seize the Birthday

Hello again...I have 2 more cards to share for the day. Papertrey Ink Blog Hop - May 2013

This month's blog hop theme is flowers and PTI gave us 7 beautiful "Bouquet Builder" color combination s to work with. Until just a few months ago I did not own any flower stamps, or very very few of them. With a bit of intervention from friends I finally saw the light. Now I own several sets and have even more on my wish list. I made 3 cards from this month's and really had so much fun.

My first card is a CASe of Lisa's card,  you can see here. I know there must me a secret to getting it come out perfect but I had no clue so I did what worked, made 3 before I got it right. 

My second card is a CASe of one the Tracey made and you can see her card here. I love the clean lines of it and DayDreamer is at the top of my favorite flowers.
