Colorthrow Down #250 and ColourQ #197

Happy Sunday! I spent some of the day crafting and more time getting my dolly domestic chores done so I will have lots of play time this week.  I have two cards to share today...my first card is for this weeks Colorthrow Down #250 and they are having a big party over there and you still have time to play if you hurry! They are celebrating 5 years of fabulous challenges! I had no clue they were at the beginning of all this fun of cards challenges but I am happy that they are.  They have some amazing prizes too so pull out your card stock and make a card!

My second card is for ColourQ #197, the colors this week are just so cute! Not sure what it is about that color combination but I just love and so happy I still had time to play along this week.  I pulled out a few NBUS for this card too, thanks Darnell!  I pulled out stamps from both Clearly Besotted - Build a Bug and The Alley Ways Stamps - Gotta Bug? and a new die from My Favorite Things - Grassy Edges.  It is always fun to play with new toys! Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my cards....have a wonderful week!

  2. These are both so wonderful. I almost think I want to get sick so you will send one to me. I love how you did your background stamping on the first card. You know I am a total sucker for background stamping. And, those bugs are just too cute in your second card.

  4. I'm glad you had time to do these delightful cards, Kim! Your homey comfort card would make anyone feel better and your snail card would make anyone giggle! It is the CUTEST!! Way to go getting new schtuff in the first place and then crossing it off that NBUS list!! Doesn't that feel great?! See you soon!

  5. Two fabulous creations Kim! I'm back from my wee hiatus and so anxious to catch up on what I missed!

Your little bug card is sure to cheer up anyone's day with the sweet image and the fun, happy colors! Love the button & twine and the little parade of critters!

The beautiful, soothing colors and the images totally conjure up a pot of home made chicken noodle soup - so good for the soul. Instant good health to the recipient!
