Three cards for several challenges....

Happy July 1st!  We are still melting in my part of the what better way to spend your time but to make cards! I have three cards made a several challenges, they were all pretty quick and easy cards to make.  I am also using NBUS too!  I love pulling out new goodies that have been hanging out for some time, it is always fun to play with new goodies!  This week over at SSS the challenge is Anything Goes, so I will be entering my cards there as well.  This is a short post, so thank you so much for stopping by to peek at my cards...have a fabulous holiday week!

My first card is for this week's Freshly Made Sketches #92...I fell in love with this patterned paper after I received it in a one of my 12 Kits of Holidays in the spring and thought these sweet butterflies would be just perfect with it.

My second card is for this week's Dynamic Duo's #59...they colors this week are Gray and your choice so I thought Winter Wisteria would look nice together.  I am using Bold Wishes from CAS-ual Fridays, one of my NBUS for today.

My last card is for this week's Retro Sketch #70, a fun sketch if you ask me! I am using another NBUS here too, the patterned paper from MME, Lime Twist - Out of the Blue.

  1. All three are just wonderful. I love the sketch in your first card, and those butterflies look perfect against the white and next to that pretty patterned paper (looks familiar, too!). I love the geometric pattern in your second card--I need to try that one myself, now that I have that set, too. And, your third card is my favorite--super paper, I love the clouds, and your asymmetrical window.

  2. I just spent a while trying to pick a favorite, Kim, and I can't! Love the sweeping curve with the pp on the first, the colours, pattern and bling on the second and those splendid hot air balloons in their offset window on the third! Great use of 'melting' time ... we're melting a bit too ... up to 36C today with more to come for a week or two ... splendid! Anita :)

  3. These are all great cards! I especially love the dsp you chose for your FMS card. And the butterflies commplement it beautifully. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  4. These are all fabulous. I especially love the last card. That paper with the clouds and then the frame is just perfect! Pinning it now.

  5. Three wonderful cards Kim! I love the way you are framing some of your the butterflies and the gorgeous stamped birthday card.

  6. Excuse me a sec, Kim. I started typing before I found what I was searching for in my tool box ... oh, good, here it is, my hammer. NAILED! NAILED! NAILED! Oh, look out, one more. NAILED!

(Yippee on using the NBUS! Mwah!)

  7. Such a great collection of cards! Loving those butterflies. Lovely take on the sketch! Glad you joined us this week at FMS!

  8. I am so impressed with these fantastic cards! Typically if I make a bunch of cards they all come out just so-so, but you get an A+ for each one of these! Love your fresh colors on the first card, the colors and stamping on the second, and the wonderful papers and pretty summer scene on the third.

  9. Kim, these are amazing! I'm glad I didn't have to select a favorite because I love them all! The butterflies with the gorgeous paper, the wonderful CAS-ual Friday stamps in fabby colors and that great scene done with papers are all winners!

  10. Nice set of cards Kim - I love the butterfly with the vertical curved lines!

  11. Kim three gorgeous cards. Your combination of challenges is fantastic! Love how you used patterned papers and your hot air balloons are so fun. Great job with your CASual Fridays stamps and Dynamic Duos! Thank you so much for sharing with us this week at Dynamic Duos!
